Louisville is going to find itself a bit thin at the running back position during spring practice.

Jeremy Wright, the Cardinals' leading rusher during the 2012 season, will not be with the team during spring practice. In fact, Wright isn't even enrolled in classes this semester, which leaves question marks not only about spring practice but his future at Louisville altogether.

Wright finished the 2012 season with 824 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns, and he also caught 41 passes for 325 yards and another score.

He didn't begin the season as Louisville's starting running back but took over the job after Senorise Perry tore his ACL against Syracuse on Nov. 10. Perry is expected to be back with the team this summer after he recovers from the injury, but without Wright or Perry on the field this spring the Cardinals are left with little experience at the position.

Dominique Brown, Corvin Lamb and Brandon Radcliff will see the most reps at running back this spring. Brown redshirted during the 2012 season but rushed for 533 yards and four touchdowns in 2011. Lamb was the only back to see action last season, carrying the ball 13 times for 50 yards.
