Hall (lower body) took part in Saturday's practice, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. Hall skated on a line with Connor Bedard, which is projected to continue into the season. Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Dealing with lower-body injury
Hall wasn't available for Thursday's practice because of a lower-body injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Hall's lower-body injury wasn't seen as too concerning to Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson, but he also said that they'll hopefully know more "tomorrow or the next few days." Hall, who Chicago acquired from Boston over the summer, is penciled in to play alongside Connor Bedard and Tyler Johnson on the first line to start the season. Ryan Donato served in Hall's spot during Thursday's skate.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Traded to Blackhawks
Hall and Nick Foligno were traded from Boston to Chicago on Monday in exchange for defensemen Ian Mitchell and Alec Regula. Hall still has another two seasons left on his four-year, $24 million contract. He produced 16 goals and 36 points in 61 games with the Bruins during the 2022-23 campaign. Hall should receive a much larger role in Chicago, and he could see playing time alongside Connor Bedard, who is expected to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Blackhawks.... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Four-point eruption Sunday
Hall recorded two goals and two assists Sunday, with one helper coming on the power play, in a 6-2 win over the Panthers during Game 4 of the Bruins' first-round series. After helping to set up Jake DeBrusk for tallies in the second and third periods, Hall wrapped up the big win by potting Boston's final two goals, including one empty-netter. The 31-year-old is having a huge start to his postseason, pouring in four goals and seven points over the last three games, and he'll take a wave of momentum into Wednesday's Game 5 as the Bruins look to advance to the second round.... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Two points in Friday's win
Hall collected a goal and an assist Friday in a 4-2 win over the Panthers in Game 3 of the Bruins' first-round series. The veteran forward opened the scoring just 2:26 into the first period before helping set up Nick Foligno for the Bruins' final tally in the third. Hall has two goals and three points in three games to begin the postseason, and he'll look to keep rolling in Game 4 on Sunday as the Bruins try to take a 3-1 series lead.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Snaps four-game scoring drought
Hall supplied a goal in a 6-3 loss to Florida in Game 2 on Wednesday. Hall ended his four-game scoring drought. Over 61 regular-season contests, he provided 16 goals and 36 points. He's served in a limited role so far in the 2023 playoffs, logging 12:57 of ice time Monday and 13:39 during Wednesday's outing, which is down from his average of 15:56 during the 2022-23 campaign.... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Set to play Tuesday
Hall (rest) is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday versus the Capitals. Hall sat out Sunday's 5-3 win over Philadelphia after returning from a 20-game absence in Saturday's 2-1 victory over New Jersey. He is projected to play alongside Charlie Coyle on the third line. Hall has provided 36 points and 147 shots on goal in 59 contests this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Not playing Sunday
Hall (rest) won't play Sunday against Philadelphia, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports. Hall logged 12:12 of ice time in Saturday's 2-1 win over New Jersey following a 20-game absence because of a lower-body injury. The Bruins will give him the day off rather than play him in back-to-back contests. Hall has accounted for 16 goals, 36 points and 147 shots on net in 59 appearances this season.... See More ... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Returning Saturday
Hall (lower body) will rejoin the Bruins on Saturday against the Devils, per Conor Ryan of Boston.com. Hall will return to the lineup after a 20-game absence due to a lower-body injury suffered Feb. 25. The 31-year-old winger has 16 goals and 36 points in 58 games this season. Hall will likely play a middle-six role as the Bruins prepare for the postseason.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Could play on weekend
Hall (upper body) has not been ruled out for Boston's games on the weekend, Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now reports. Hall has missed the last 20 games after getting hurt in Vancouver on February 25. He has 16 goals and 20 assists in 58 games. The Bruins play at home to New Jersey on Saturday and are in Philadelphia on Sunday. Stay tuned.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Ruled out
As expected, Hall (lower body) won't play Thursday versus the Maple Leafs, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports. Although Hall will miss a 20th straight game Thursday, he began practicing in a regular jersey Wednesday, suggesting he could be cleared to rejoin the lineup in the near future. The 31-year-old winger has collected 16 goals and 36 points through 58 contests this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Doubtful against Toronto
Hall (lower body) is considered doubtful to face the Leafs on Thursday, Conor Ryan of Boston.com reports. Hall wasn't completely ruled out by coach Jim Montgomery but it seems unlikely he will be ready in time for Thursday's contest. Still, Hall practiced in a regular sweater Wednesday and appears to be trending in the right direction. Once given the green light, Hall should slot into a middle-six role in addition to linking up with the No. 2 power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Shifts to LTIR
Hall (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Thursday, CapFriendly.com reports. The move was made necessary when the Bruins picked up Tyler Bertuzzi from Detroit earlier in the day, putting the team over the salary cap. Hall has missed the last two games with the injury and will now be sidelined until at least the end of March. He has 16 goals and 36 points in 58 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Not available Thursday
Hall (lower body) is not expected to play Thursday versus the Sabres, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports. Head coach Jim Montgomery supplied the update following Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. Hall's status beyond Thursday hasn't been determined yet.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Dealing with lower-body injury
Hall won't play Monday in Edmonton after returning to Boston due to a lower-body injury, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports. It doesn't seem likely that Hall will be available for Tuesday's contest in Calgary either. Still, coach Jim Montgomery does not believe the issue is serious. Hall has accounted for 16 goals, 36 points and 143 shots on net in 58 contests this campaign. Nick Foligno is slated to play alongside Charlie Coyle on Monday, while Dmitry Orlov is projected to be on the second power-play combination.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Heating up
Hall provided a goal in Boston's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars on Tuesday. Hall opened the scoring at 10:33 of the first period. It was his 16th goal and 34th point in 53 contests in 2022-23. Hall had a goal and just four points over 18 contests from Dec. 22-Jan. 28, but the 31-year-old seems to be turning a corner with two goals and three points over his last four games.... See More ... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Scores in loss to Carolina
Hall netted a goal in Boston's 4-1 loss to Carolina on Sunday. Hall scored at 3:22 of the third period to narrow the Hurricanes' lead to 3-1. It was his 15th goal and 32nd point in 50 games in 2022-23. Hall was struggling going into Sunday's action, recording just a goal and four points over 18 games from Dec. 22-Jan. 28.... See More ... Bruins' Taylor Hall: Snaps skid with power-play goal
Hall scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens. Hall got the Bruins on the board in the second period, scoring a power-play marker to tie the game 1-1. The goal is Hall's first since Dec. 19, a span of 16 games. The 31-year-old winger still has some fantasy upside due to his role on the man advantage, but he's primarily skating in a bottom-six role on a deep Bruins team, limiting his overall value. Hall is up to 14 goals and 17 assists through 47 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Slips helper Sunday
Hall notched an assist and three hits in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Ducks. Hall joined the blowout with a helper on Charlie Coyle's tally late in the third period. It's been tough sledding on offense lately for Hall, who has four helpers over 10 games since he last scored a goal. The 31-year-old winger is at 13 goals, 16 assists, 104 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 40 contests while mainly playing in a middle-six role this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Taylor Hall: Grabs assist in win
Hall recorded an assist in Monday's 2-1 comeback win over the Penguins. Despite the point, Hall remains mired in a seven-game goal drought during which he has recorded a meager 12 shots. Until the 31-year-old winger starts putting pucks on the net, fantasy players probably shouldn't expect him to start contributing offensively with any consistency.... See More ... See Less
