Giants' Jamie Gillan: Re-signs with Big Blue
The Giants and Gillan agreed on a two-year, $4 million deal Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Gillan signed a one-year deal with the Giants in February of 2022 after being released by the Browns in December of 2021. He averaged a career-high 46.8 yards per punt in 2022.

Jamie Gillan: Waived by Cleveland
The Browns waived Gillan after removing him from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Gillan landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Week 14 and was sidelined for two games. The Browns signed Dustin Colquitt to fill in at punter during Gillan's absence, but in the process, Colquitt won the starting kicking job. Gillan averaged 46.2 yards per punt as a rookie, but he has seen his averages drop in each of the past two seasons.

Gillan (undisclosed) won't be available for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Gillan landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday and will be sidelined for at least one game. Dustin Colquitt was signed to fill in as Cleveland's punter in Gillan's absence.

Gillan has been struggling this season and after averaging more than 46 yards per punt as a rookie, he has seen his average drop in each of the past two seasons. However, his loss will still affect the special teams since it remains to be seen who will take his place for Sunday's matchup against the Ravens.
