Lawrence suited up for one less game last season after playing all 17 in 2022, but despite Ridley's presence atop the depth chart, he took a step back in terms of passing yards (4,016 vs. 4,113), touchdowns (21 vs. 25), and increased his interception total (14 vs. eight). That said, the loss of Ridley to free agency still represents a knock to Lawrence's prospects for 2024, especially with Zay Jones also being a speculated cap casualty. The addition of Gabe Davis from Buffalo, who joins Christian Kirk (groin), does something to mitigate those concerns, and the Jaguars still have plenty of time to make further moves in free agency or April's draft.

Even in a sloppy three-interception game at Cleveland last week, Lawrence overcame a bad start and a lot of pass rush pressure to post his fourth straight game with at least 23 Fantasy points. Just like last season, he seems to be hitting his stride late. Additionally, the Jaguars run game hasn't been consistent over those past four games (22.8 RB rushes per week, 3.0 yards per rush, 0.34 yards before contact per rush). That's helped Lawrence average nearly 40 pass attempts per game (50 last week boosts that number). The Ravens run defense has been a little dicey over their last four games (4.5 yards per rush) but much of that is from matchups where teams ran the ball over 25 times against them. I'm not confident the Jaguars will have much success nor stick with the ground game, further pushing the game script in Lawrence's favor. Lawrence will have to beat the Ravens' pass rush downfield like Matthew Stafford did last week to have some success, but I think he'll have the opportunities to do it. He's got the upside to be a top-12 Fantasy QB, but toward the bottom of the group. I feel better starting him over Russell Wilson, Jared Goff and Sam Howell, but not over Brock Purdy, Matthew Stafford, Justin Fields or Jordan Love.

Lawrence's ability to take every practice rep Wednesday indicates that he experienced no setbacks with his right high-ankle sprain coming out of Sunday's 31-27 loss to Cleveland. The quarterback told Juston Lewis of The Florida Times-Union as much prior to Wednesday's practice, noting that he made it out of the Week 14 "pretty clean" and felt as though he moved around the pocket well. Lawrence threw three interceptions and struggled with accuracy (28 completions on 50 attempts) against Cleveland, but with the injury now further in the rear-view mirror, he could be a decent bet to bounce back this Sunday versus Baltimore.
