Colts' Dayo Odeyingbo: Manages 8.0 sacks in 2023
Odeyingbo logged 38 tackles (22 solo), 8.0 sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 17 regular-season games with the Colts in 2023.
Odeyingbo, a 2021 second-round pick, put together career-high numbers across the board in 2023. He's begun to find success as a key rotational pass rusher in Indianapolis' defensive scheme, and in 2024 Odeyingbo's numbers could uptick again if he's able to more consistently handle above 50 percent of defensive snaps.

Colts' Dayo Odeyingbo: Registers in sack column Saturday
Odeyingbo recorded four tackles (two solo) including 1.5 sacks in Saturday's 30-13 win versus the Steelers.
Odeyingbo's performance in Week 15 brought his season sack total up to 8.0, putting him in position to push for double digits in that category in his third NFL season. Atlanta has fielded a run-heavy squad so far this year, though, so he may not get quite so many pass-rushing opportunities in Week 16.

Odeyingbo four solo tackles, including three sacks, in Sunday's 10-6 win over the Patriots.
Odeybingo had three sacks coming into the day and doubled that total with a single-game career-high against New England. The Vanderbilt product has already surpassed his previous season-best total of five sacks, as his role has incrementally increased each season. Next up for Odeybingo and the Colts face off with the Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 26 following a Week 11 bye.

Colts' Dayo Odeyingbo: Puts on weight in offseason
Odeyingbo said Wednesday that he's up to 285 pounds and indicated that he can feel his Achilles getting stronger now that he's more than two years removed from tearing it, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
The Colts made Odeyingbo a second-round pick in April 2021, three months after he tore his Achilles' tendon while training for the draft. He played only 173 defensive snaps in 10 games as a rookie before progressing to 518 snaps (45.5 percent), 31 tackles and five sacks in 17 games last season. Odeyingbo, 2021 first-round pick Kwity Paye and offseason signee Samson Ebukam project to handle most of the snaps at defensive end for Indianapolis in 2023, but Odeyingbo could also get some interior snaps on passing downs, especially if he keeps his weight above 280.

Colts' Dayo Odeyingbo: Career high in tackles, sacks
Odeyingbo recorded five tackles (four solo) and two sacks during Saturday's 39-26 loss to the Vikings.
Despite having played just 47 percent of the Colts' defensive snaps Saturday versus Minnesota, Odeyingbo logged the first multi-sack performance of his career. The second-year defensive end also amassed a career-high five stops this past weekend, so he'll likely retain his usual rotational role on the team's defensive line when Indianapolis hosts the Chargers next Monday night.

Colts' Dayo Odeyingbo: Just four snaps in season opener
Odeyingbo had one total tackle and played four snaps on defense in Sunday's tie at Houston.
The Colts selected Odeyingbo in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 54th overall, despite him suffering a torn Achilles' tendon just a few months before the draft. He returned to play in 10 games last season, but he played just 167 snaps and had just six tackles. It looks like he'll begin the season far down the depth chart.
