  • Tarik Black: Joins Ravens' practice squad

Baltimore signed Black to its practice squad Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports. With Odell Beckham (ankle), Rashod Bateman (hamstring) and Tylan Wallace (hamstring) all dealing with injuries, Baltimore saw fit to bring in some depth at the receiver position. With the Ravens so thin there, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Black elevated as soon as Week 4 at Cleveland.

  • Jets' Tarik Black: Under concussion evaluation

Black left Monday's preseason game against the Falcons to be evaluated for a concussion. Black suffered an apparent head injury at some point during Monday's exhibition, leaving his return to the game in question. The 24-year-old wideout recorded one reception for 10 yards during his lone elevation from the Jets' practice squad last year, so a potential concussion this preseason could harshly impact his chances to make the team's final 53-man roster.
