  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Only two grabs in defeat

Davis caught two of four targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the AFC divisional round. Davis had an impressive catch of 25 yards toward the end of the second quarter, but overall he was one of many Bills offensive weapons to struggle in the snow. In fact, top wideout Stefon Diggs didn't fare much better than Davis, catching four passes for only 35 yards. While starting all 15 games he played in the regular season, Davis hauled in 48 of 93 targets for 836 yards and seven scores, marking his best campaign yet despite still carrying weekly inconsistencies. With 2023 slated to be the final year of his rookie contract, Davis will strive to continue his ascent and earn a lucrative new deal.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Another impressive playoff performance

Davis caught six of nine targets for 113 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Dolphins in the wild-card round. Davis' display was highlighted by a toe-tapping, 23-yard touchdown during the third quarter to extend Buffalo's lead. After exploding for 201 yards and four touchdowns in last January's divisional-round loss to the Chiefs, Davis made another strong impact while returning to the postseason Sunday. With both he and Stefon Diggs topping 100 receiving yards, the Bills' starting wideouts now approach the AFC divisional round in fine form.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Does little with 10 targets Week 18

Davis caught three of 10 targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 35-23 win over the Patriots. Davis tied Stefon Diggs for the team lead in targets but didn't make much of the volume. Big things were expected from Davis in his third NFL season after he broke out last postseason, but Buffalo's No. 2 wide receiver struggled to find consistency en route to 48 catches for 836 yards and seven touchdowns on 93 targets. Davis had at least 88 yards and a touchdown on three different occasions, but he also produced fewer than 40 yards in eight of 15 appearances. The Bills will forget about Davis' underwhelming season in a heartbeat if he can return to peak form in the postseason, starting with the wild-card round against the Dolphins.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

I'm sure a lot of people are rooting for everything Buffalo right now following the Damar Hamlin situation, so let's send some positive vibes to Gabe Davis and hope he plays well against the Patriots. It would be great to see him end the season on a high note after struggling down the stretch, but he did have a touchdown against the Patriots in Week 13. However, he only had two catches for 15 yards on seven targets. New England is dealing with injuries in the secondary which should help Davis, Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, and Davis is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Records touchdown in Week 16 win

Davis brought in three of six targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 35-13 win over the Bears on Saturday. He also lost a fumble. Davis led the Bills in receiving yards on the windy, frigid day at Soldier Field, and he erased an early 7-0 deficit with a 19-yard scoring grab just past the midway point of the first quarter. Davis tied his career high with what was his seventh touchdown catch of the campaign, and he now has at least three receptions in six of the last seven contests. Davis next takes aim at a tough Bengals secondary in a critical Week 17 road matchup on Monday night, Jan. 2.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Sit Him (Lineup Decisions)

Windy weather would cement Davis as an extremely risky Fantasy receiver. Even without the wind he hasn't been great. The Bills may be able to stroll through this matchup without taking crazy chances with the football, plus it feels like Allen has gravitated toward others in the passing game compared to Davis. I'd rather start Darius Slayton, Jahan Dotson and Drake London.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: WRs to Sit

I hope this is a reverse jinx for Davis and he goes off this week because his production of late has been frustrating. He's scored 11 PPR points or less in four games in a row, and he's been held under 40 receiving yards in three consecutive games. He's had some tough matchups the past two weeks against the Patriots and Jets, but it's hard to expect a big performance against the Dolphins in Week 15. In Week 3 at Miami, Davis had three catches for 37 yards on six targets. You still want Davis in your lineup in three-receiver leagues because of his upside, but his downside of late is crushing Fantasy managers. Given his recent struggles, it's understandable if you want to bench Davis at the start of the Fantasy playoffs.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Three catches in Week 14

Davis caught three of four targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets. No Bills pass catcher reached 50 yards in this one, so Davis wasn't the only player who struggled to create separation against the sticky Jets secondary. Davis has been held below 40 receiving yards in seven of 12 appearances this season, including in Week 3 against the Dolphins, whom the Bills will face again in Week 15.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Possible Bust (Lineup Decisions)

Davis' role never really expanded like we had hoped, and now he's watching Stefon Diggs and even Isaiah McKenzie pick up shorter throws. Those will be the types of throws the Bills may have to settle for on Sunday, just as they did in Week 9 in New York. If you just can't stomach sitting Davis because of his upside, I get it, but at the very least consider your other options -- anyone with a consistent track record of getting 9 non-PPR/12 PPR points is worth taking over him. I'm ready to start Mike Evans, D.J. Moore, Marquise Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster over Davis in PPR.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Gets into end zone during win

Davis secured two of seven targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 24-10 win over the Patriots on Thursday night. Davis had an inefficient night overall, but he salvaged it from a fantasy perspective by recording an eight-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. The speedster's catch and yardage totals were his second lowest of the season, and the trip to the end zone was only his second since Week 6. Davis will aim to reverse his troublesome trend of three straight games of declining yardage compared to that of the previous contest when he faces the tough Jets secondary in a Week 14 home divisional showdown a week from Sunday.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Four grabs in Thanksgiving win

Davis caught four of five targets for 38 yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Lions. The third-year receiver took a back seat to Stefon Diggs and Isaiah McKenzie in this one, as he failed to reach 40 receiving yards for the third time in the last five games. Davis' downturn has coincided with Josh Allen's elbow issues, but he remains a big-play threat heading into a Week 13 road clash with the Patriots.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Solid production in win

Davis brought in five of seven targets for 68 yards in the Bills' 31-23 win over the Browns on Sunday. Davis checked in second in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon for the Bills while sharing the team lead in targets with Dawson Knox. The speedster also had a drop that would have made his day even bigger, but he'll still head into Thursday's return to Ford Field for a Week 12 Thanksgiving showdown against the Lions with an 11-161-1 line over his last two games.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Finds end zone in OT loss

Davis caught six of nine targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Vikings. Davis scored from 11 yards out with 28 seconds left in the first half to give the Bills a 24-10 lead, but Minnesota came back in the second half and pulled it out in overtime as Buffalo's offense was bogged down by a trio of Josh Allen turnovers. It has been an up-and-down season for Davis, who has 352 receiving yards and four touchdowns across his best three games -- including this one -- and only 192 yards with one touchdown over the other five. He'll maintain a high ceiling when the Bills host the Browns in Week 11.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Only two catches in loss

Davis caught two of five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Jets. Davis was kept in check by the stingy Jets secondary. His big-play ability coupled with Josh Allen's arm strength give Davis an immense ceiling, but his floor is far lower than that of Stefon Diggs, who led the team in targets (10), catches (five) and receiving yards (93). Davis and the Bills will host the Vikings in Week 10.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Contained on seven targets

Davis had two receptions (seven targets) for 35 yards in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Packers. Davis was held in check after exploding for 185 yards and three touchdowns in the two games before returning from the bye week. Green Bay boasts one of the best secondaries in the NFL, so it was going to be a tough matchup for Josh Allen's favorite downfield threat. Top corners Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas each made huge breakups on deep balls to Davis at different points of the contest, one of which would have been a signature long bomb for a score had Davis been able to get his second foot down in the back of the end zone. In the end, it was a disappointing stat line for the breakout fantasy wideout. Davis will get a chance to rebound against the Jets next Sunday.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: WRs to Start

Let's hope Davis stays hot coming off his bye in Week 7. Prior to his bye, Davis combined for 48 PPR points in his past two games against the Steelers and Chiefs with six catches for 245 yards and three touchdowns on 12 targets. We'd love to see a spike in targets and catches, but that's not likely going to happen given all the mouths to feed in Buffalo. That said, Davis is making plenty of big plays, and that should continue against the Packers, who should get overwhelmed defensively in this matchup. Davis has top-15 upside this week at home.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Finds end zone Sunday

Davis caught three of six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 win over Kansas City. While he didn't see anywhere near the volume Stefon Diggs did, Davis still made a big impact on the game, scoring Buffalo's first TD of the afternoon on a 34-yard rocket down the sideline from Josh Allen. It was his third TD catch in the last two weeks, all of them 34 yards or greater. The third-year wideout continues his breakout campaign, and Davis will head into Buffalo's Week 7 bye on pace for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Flashes elite wheels in win

Davis secured three of six targets for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the Bills' 38-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday. Davis comfortably led the Bills in receiving yards thanks to 98- and 62-yard touchdown grabs in the first and second quarters, respectively, a pair of plays where his elite speed was on display. The two splash scores should put any doubts as to the health of Davis' previously ailing ankle to rest, and he'll next take aim at the Chiefs' defense in a Week 6 road showdown that should feature plenty of aggressive offense.

  • Bills' Gabe Davis: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

It's been a frustrating start to the season for Davis, but this could be his time to shine. He was a full participant in practice Wednesday, so hopefully the ankle injury he's been dealing with is behind him. Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) could be out this week, and Jamison Crowder (ankle) won't play. That puts Davis in line for a potential target bump against the Steelers, who have already allowed six receivers to score at least 13 PPR points this season. We've made plenty of excuses for Davis between the ankle injury and the poor weather in Baltimore in Week 4, but he only has one touchdown so far and one game with more than six PPR points. He should reward the Fantasy managers who stuck with him with a big game this week.
