The Dolphins signed Smith to their practice squad Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Smith was released by the Cardinals on Sept. 18 after accumulating two tackles in two games. The third-year defensive tackle out of Georgia has appeared in 13 games in his career.

Falcons' Garrison Smith: Signs with Falcons
Smith signed with the Falcons on Tuesday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Smith has spent the majority of his NFL career on practice squads, logging stints with the Dolphins, 49ers and Seahawks since 2014. He was activated by the Seahawks for the second half of last season, as he recorded nine tackles (six solo) in eight contests. He'll now compete for a spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster this offseason.

Seahawks' Garrison Smith: Joins active roster
The Seahawks promoted Smith to their active roster Tuesday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Smith was most recently waived by the Seahawks on Nov. 28 but subsequently reverted to their practice squad. In total, he has played six games with the team this season. He could be in line for some work in Week 15 if Nazair Jones (ankle) is unable to play.

In three games this season, the 25-year-old racked up five tackles (one solo). The Seahawks signed Sealver Siliga on Tuesday to replace Smith on the depth chart.
