Adams was most recently with the Ravens during training camp, but the team parted ways with him ahead of Week 1. The transaction means the Ravens have just two tight ends on their active roster -- a surprisingly low total given the team's extra reliance on the position. Adams could return to the roster at some point following the 53-man cutdown, though it's also possible he ends up on the team's practice squad in lieu of a larger free-agent name.
