Player Outlook
Hopkins should only be considered a low-end No. 2 receiver in the majority of leagues as a member of the Titans, and the earliest you should draft him is Round 5. While Hopkins does have age and injury concerns, he has remained elite when on the field. Hopkins did well last season with the Cardinals when he caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns on 96 targets in nine games. He averaged 16.8 PPR points per game, which was No. 9 among receivers. His 26.7% target/route rate in 2022 was his best mark since 2017 and his 1.99 yards per route run was only slightly below his career average. The worry is that Hopkins can't be an elite Fantasy receiver unless Tennessee changes its offense completely. The target volume won't be there, and the track record for receivers over 30 is troubling.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Hopkins just had a standout game in Week 13 against Indianapolis with five catches for 75 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets for 18.9 PPR points. He also had 15.9 PPR points in Week 11 at Jacksonville, so he's starting to connect well with rookie quarterback Will Levis. But this could be a tough matchup for Hopkins in Week 14 at Miami, and he should see plenty of Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey. I'm still starting Hopkins in three-receiver leagues, but this could be a tough outing for him on the road.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Catches touchdown again

Hopkins recorded five catches on 12 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 overtime loss to the Colts. He also recorded one carry for four yards. Hopkins saw double-digit targets for the fourth time this season and had his most productive showing since Week 8. He did the majority of his damage on a trio of catches that went for 27, 22 and 18 yards. Hopkins also tallied his fifth touchdown of the campaign -- all of which have come since Will Levis took over under center -- on a three-yard reception late in the fourth quarter. The Titans will likely continue to prefer to run their offense through the ground game, but Hopkins has shown he is still capable of putting together strong performances

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Quiet against Panthers

Hopkins recorded three catches on five targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Panthers. Hopkins narrowly led the Titans in receiving yards, but he unexpectedly was forced to split targets among several other pass catchers on the team. Thanks to a pair of 19-yard receptions, it was one of Hopkins' more efficient performances of the season, though he was ultimately limited in production due to his muted volume. Overall, Hopkins has 60 or fewer yards in each of his last four games.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Long score on trick play

Hopkins recorded four receptions on five targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-14 loss to the Jaguars. Hopkins was the only Titans pass catcher to see more than two targets, though he needed only one opportunity to account for the majority of his production. On the final play of the third quarter, Tenessee snapped the ball directly to Derrick Henry, who proceeded to hand the ball off to Will Levis to deliver a 43-yard touchdown strike to Hopkins. Hopkins has been held back by the team's poor passing attack for much of the season, but he now has a touchdown in two of four games with Levis under center.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Sit Him (Lineup Decisions)

Hopkins' target volume is fantastic, but it's not enough to make up for the significant shortcomings Levis has shown in the past two weeks. That overshadows everything from Jacksonville's up-and-down pass defense to the Jaguars' pass-run desires to Hopkins' own game not being exactly what it was earlier this season. I'd rather start Chris Godwin, Rashee Rice and Tyler Lockett in any format.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: WRs to Sit (Start/Sit)

Week 8 is starting to look more and more like a fluke with each passing week for Hopkins and Will Levis, and it's hard to trust Hopkins as anything more than a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. In Week 8 against Atlanta, Hopkins went off for four catches for 128 yards and three touchdowns on six targets in Levis' NFL debut. Since then, Hopkins has combined for seven catches for 87 yards and no touchdowns on 19 targets. Keep in mind the Falcons game was the first time all season where Hopkins found the end zone and just the third time all year where he scored more than 10.5 PPR points. The Jaguars matchup isn't terrible, but Levis' ability to find Hopkins consistently might be, which is why you should be concerned with Hopkins in Week 11.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Held in check Sunday

Hopkins secured three of eight targets for 27 yards in the Titans' 20-6 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. Hopkins led the Titans in targets, but Tennessee was unable to capitalize on what appeared to be a favorable matchup against a Buccaneers secondary picked apart by C.J. Stroud in a Week 9 loss and missing Carlton Davis (toe) on Sunday. Hopkins' three receptions were his fewest yet while operating with Will Levis as his quarterback, and he'll aim to bounce back in a Week 11 road matchup against a vulnerable Jaguars secondary.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: WRS to Start

Hopkins had a down game in Week 9 at Pittsburgh with four catches for 60 yards, but he had 11 targets from Will Levis in their second start together. That's just the third time this season where Hopkins had double digits in targets, and hopefully it's a sign of things to come. And remember the first start for Hopkins with Levis, which was Week 8 against Atlanta when the duo connected for four receptions for 128 yards and three touchdowns on six targets. Hopkins has a great matchup in Week 10 at Tampa Bay since the Buccaneers are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. In the past two games against Buffalo and Houston, six receivers have scored at least 14.4 PPR points against Tampa Bay. In deeper leagues, Kyle Philips should be considered a sleeper.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Suits up Thursday

Hopkins (toe) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Steelers. With the Titans on a quick turnaround after Sunday's 28-23 win over the Falcons, Hopkins was listed as limited on Monday and Tuesday's practice reports before being deemed a non-participant Wednesday and questionable for Thursday's contest. Now that the wideout's active status versus Pittsburgh has been confirmed, Hopkins figures to maintain his key role in Tennessee's passing offense while working with rookie QB Will Levis for the second straight game. In Levis' regular-season debut against Atlanta, Hopkins logged 43 (of a possible 68) snaps on offense en route to catching four of his six targets for 128 yards and three TDs.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Flex Starter (Lineup Decisions)

Ultimately it's hard to sit Hopkins after he erupted last week, plus four teams are on bye this week. But there is some obvious downside if Levis gets exposed, or if Derrick Henry's hand catches fire. It's why he's no better than a low-end WR2. I'd rather go with DeVonta Smith, Chris Olave and Zay Flowers.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Questionable after missed practice

Hopkins (toe) was listed as a non-participant in practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Steelers. Hopkins' inability to practice Wednesday after being listed as a limited participant Monday and Tuesday may leave his fantasy managers feeling uneasy, but without a day off between practice and Thursday's game, it's possible Tennessee was just providing extra rest for the veteran wide receiver. Hopkins has a history of suiting up despite little or no practice participation, and he showed no signs of being bothered by an injury in this past Sunday's three-touchdown performance against the Falcons. All three touchdowns came on the receiving end of passes from rookie quarterback Will Levis, who will make his second straight start Thursday in place of the injured Ryan Tannehill (ankle). The strong-armed Levis will likely continue looking for Hopkins deep downfield if the receiver is given the green light when Tennessee releases its inactive list roughly 90 minutes prior to Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Remains limited Tuesday

Hopkins (toe) was listed as limited on Tuesday's practice estimate, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports. Like running back Derrick Henry (ankle), Hopkins is going through Week 9 prep with a cap on his reps. Hopkins will have just one more opportunity to log all on-field work this week before the Titans potentially hand him a designation for Thursday's game in Pittsburgh.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Dealing with toe issue

Hopkins was listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report due to a toe injury, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. In the wake of his three-touchdown performance against the Falcons this past Sunday, Hopkins is tending to his second health concern of the season after dealing with an ankle issue Weeks 2-4. As a result, his status will be one to watch as the week goes on to get a sense of his availability for Thursday's game in Pittsburgh.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Turns in vintage effort

Hopkins caught four passes on six targets for 128 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Falcons. Hopkins tied for the team lead with six targets, and he was extremely efficient with his opportunity. Three of his four receptions went for touchdowns, highlighted by long scores of 61 and 47 yards. The performance marked Hopkins' second 100-yard effort of the season, both of which have come in his last three games. Will Levis led the Titans' most explosive offensive performance of the season, and Hopkins could continue to benefit with him under center.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: WRs to Sit

Hopkins is coming off a miserable game against Baltimore in Week 6 prior to the Titans bye when he had one catch for 20 yards on five targets in London. Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is out for this game, and Tennessee plans to start Will Levis, while also working in Malik Willis. It seems messy, and Hopkins could suffer with even worse quarterback play. The Falcons are also No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and I would only start Hopkins in three-receiver leagues.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Disappears against Ravens

Hopkins recorded one reception on five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Ravens. The Titans ran only 46 offensive plays, which limited volume for their skill-position players across the board. That was certainly the case for Hopkins, who had his worst statistical performance of the season while matching his low in targets. To make matters worse, Hopkins was seen holding his hand in apparent discomfort late in the game, per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. Tennessee is heading into its bye week, but his health status will be worth monitoring heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Falcons.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

It's been cool to bench Hopkins so far this season but we're staring at a terrific matchup for him to take advantage of, just as other receivers have as recently as last week (Puka Nacua). I think he'll continue to see high-value targets near the end zone and, hopefully, a small uptick in targets. I'd start him as a No. 2 receiver over Terry McLaurin, any Broncos wideouts and any Packers wideouts.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: WRs to Sit

Hopkins can be used in three-receiver leagues in Week 5 at the Colts, but I'm not ready to start him in all formats. He's yet to score a touchdown, and he's been held to four catches or less in three games in a row. He's also been at seven targets or less in each of the past three games. While the Colts have been great for opposing receivers this season, with seven guys scoring at least 13.0 PPR points, it's hard to trust Hopkins right now, and he could be playing through an ankle injury, which might be the reason for his poor production.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Tallies 63 yards

Hopkins recorded four receptions on six targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Bengals. Hopkins had to settle for a tie for the team lead in targets, and he now has between five and seven targets in each of his last three games. He managed the majority of his production in Sunday's win on a deep catch down the left side of the field that went for 37 yards in the middle of the second quarter -- his longest gain of the campaign. Hopkins has yet to top 65 receiving yards, and with Tennessee's offense centered around the running game, it's difficult to foresee a significant increase in his production.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Gets green light for Week 4

Hopkins (ankle) was a full practice participant Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. The lingering ankle issue had resulted in Hopkins carrying a questionable tag into the Titans' last two games, but he suited up on both occasions and combined for seven receptions for 88 yards and no touchdowns on 12 targets. That level of production was lower than what fantasy managers had been accustomed to seeing from Hopkins, but his outlook could be brighter for Week 4 now that he's seemingly in a better spot on the health front than he has been for either of the past two games. Additionally, the Titans will be without No. 2 wideout Treylon Burks (knee) on Sunday, removing one potential challenger for targets from the equation.
