The Eagles have waived/injured third-year safety Earl Wolff, who tweeted that he underwent knee surgery Thursday.

Wolff was absent from the last three practices with what he described as soreness in the knee. He missed all spring workouts despite Chip Kelly declaring that he had been cleared by the doctor.

He was a full participant, however, when training camp began and said he was feeling as good as he had in over a year, per the Philadelphia Inquirer.
