  • Jalen Harris: Lands on injured list

Harris was placed on the injured list due to left hand soreness Monday. Harris missed Sunday's game against Iowa due to his hand issue, and his placement on the injured list suggests that he's in line to miss more time. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return.

  • Jalen Harris: Paces team in scoring

Harris posted 24 points (9-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists and two rebounds in Wednesday's 129-117 loss to the Lakeland Magic. Harris' efficient scoring helped him post a team-high mark in scoring. However, his five turnovers also led to him recording a team-low negative-12 point differential.

  • Jalen Harris: Poor efficiency in loss

Harris recorded 14 points (5-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Sunday's 130-97 loss to the Long Island Nets. Harris was one of many Westchester players who struggled with their efficiency in Saturday's blowout loss. However, he was able to post a game-high six assists.

  • Jalen Harris: Recovers from surgery

Harris tallied seven points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Monday's 115-103 loss to the Charge. Harris struggled in his first game back from hand surgery. He picked up five fouls and coughed up three turnovers Monday.

  • Jalen Harris: Undergoes surgery

Harris missed Sunday's game versus the Maine Celtics due to undergoing hand surgery. Harris played 13 games for the Raptors in 2020-21 and played overseas in 2021-22 due to violating the NBA's anti-drug program. While Harris was reinstated in August, allowing him to play for the Westchester Knicks, he will miss an indefinite amount of time due to hand surgery.

  • Jalen Harris: Let go by New York

The Knicks waived Harris on Saturday. Harris played in Italy and Canada last year due to violating the NBA's anti-drug program but was re-instated in August. Harris will likely join the Westchester Knicks of the G League.

  • Knicks' Jalen Harris: Signs with Knicks

Harris signed a contract with the Knicks on Sunday. After he was suspended for the 2021-22 season for violating the league's anti-drug program, Harris spent the past year playing in Italy and Canada. The Raptors retained Harris' rights during the suspension, but shortly after he was granted reinstatement by the NBA in mid-August, Toronto opted to pull his qualifying offer. He'll now attempt to carve out a role with a new organization, as he's presumably joining the Knicks on an Exhibit 10 deal. If that's the case, Harris could end up being assigned to the G League's Westchester Knicks in the likely event the NBA team cuts him during training camp.

  • Jalen Harris: Reinstated by NBA

Harris was granted reinstatement by the NBA on Tuesday, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Harris was given a one-year ban following a positive test for a prohibited substance as of July 1 of 2021. He sat out last year as a result but is now eligible to rejoin the league ranks given that he's served that suspension. Toronto still holds Harris' rights and may look to sign him following his rookie campaign in 2019-20, when he amassed 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 13.2 minutes per game.

Harris has signed a one-year contract with Italian team Vanoli Cremona, Johnny Askounis of Eurohoops.net reports. In early July, Harris was given a one-year suspension from the NBA for violating the league's anti-drug program. In the meantime, he'll play overseas.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Dismissed from NBA

Harris has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating terms of the anti-drug program, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. He can apply for reinstatement in one year. Harris barely saw action for the Raptors until the end of the season when the team was tanking. So, his absence shouldn't affect Toronto's plans for next season. It's unclear if he'll look to play overseas.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Won't play Sunday

Harris (foot) will not play Sunday against the Pacers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Harris has been troubled by a left foot injury of late, and it will keep him out of Sunday's finale. He had been coming off a 31-point outburst in Friday's loss to the Mavericks.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Starts, scores 31 in loss

Harris had 31 points (12-21 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in Friday's loss to Dallas. A foot injury initially landed Harris as "doubtful" on the injury report, but he ended up starting and playing 36 minutes for a Raptors team that only used seven players. It was the second consecutive start for Harris, who had 17 points and three three-pointers in Thursday's loss at Chicago.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Starting Friday

Harris (foot) will play and start Friday's game against Dallas, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Harris has been dealing with a nagging left foot injury but will be active against his hometown team Friday. The guard is averaging 5.4 points and 1.3 rebounds across 12 games played this season.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Likely out Friday

Harris (foot) is listed as doubtful Friday against the Mavericks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports. Making his first career start Thursday night against Chicago, Harris saw 27 minutes and finished with 17 points, one rebound and one steal while draining three three-pointers. However, he emerged from the contest with a sore left foot, and the Raptors are not expecting him to be available for the second half of the back-to-back set. Assuming he does sit, the hope is that Harris can return for Sunday's finale against Indiana.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Solid effort in relief

Harris produced 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), a rebound and an assist across 27 minutes in Thursday's 114-102 loss to the Bulls. Coach Nick Nurse's postgame comments seemed to indicate that Thursday's absentees may not return this season, which means Harris could retain a starting role in the final week. Harris' increased court time allows the Raptors to see what they have with their second-round pick, and the Nevada product is living up to expectations so far. Harris adds to the mix of standout guards who could be in line for a starting role if Kyle Lowry is shipped out of town in the offseason.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Getting first start of season

Harris will start Thursday's game against the Bulls, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Harris is set to make his first start of the season as Toronto threw out an unexpected starting lineup. Over the last five games, he's averaging 8.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 triples per game.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Scores career-high 16 off bench

Harris tallied 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 109-99 loss to the Grizzlies. The 22-year-old easily had the best game of his young career, setting career highs in virtually every category. Before Saturday's game, Harris was averaging 3.8 points and 1.0 three-pointers with little else in 7.9 minutes, so it's safe to say he took advantage of his career-high 29 minutes with both Kyle Lowry (rest) and Fred VanVleet (rest) out of the lineup. The rookie may have earned himself more playing time moving forward, especially with the Raptors falling out of playoff contention.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Sets new career high in scoring

Harris tallied 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 13 minutes off the bench Tuesday in the Raptors' 105-100 loss to the Clippers. Toronto was without five players Tuesday due to injury, so Harris benefited from a rare look in head coach Nick Nurse's rotation. The rookie second-round pick did well to limit the effectiveness of the Clippers' zone defense, drilling all three of his three-point attempts on his way to a new career high in scoring. Toronto could look to preserve some of its banged-up players over the final week and a half of the regular season, which could open up a slightly larger role for the 6-foot-5 shooting guard down the stretch.

  • Raptors' Jalen Harris: Cleared to play

Harris (hip) has been cleared to play Thursday against the Nuggets. Harris had been dealing with a hip pointer for several weeks, but he'll be available off the bench Thursday if coach Nick Nurse calls his number. Considering Harris has only appeared in four games this season, that seems unlikely.

Harris (hip) is questionable Tuesday against the Nets, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Harris is still dealing with inflammation in his hip, and it's unclear if he will be available. He hasn't seen the court since mid-March.
