After playing 17 minutes off the bench in his NBA debut Dec. 29 against the Knicks, Palmer didn't appear in any other games for Detroit before being assigned to its G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise, last Monday. Unless another organization is compelled to bring him aboard on a 10-day deal, Palmer will likely stick with the Cruise for the remainder of the season.
