Gbinije spent training camp with the Warriors, but it was always going to be tough for him to make one of the more talented rosters in the league. He'll likely have to start the season in the G-League in order to prove to teams he has the skills to play at the NBA level. Of course, there's always the chance that Gbinije could head overseas if a lucrative offer is extended to him as well.

Gbinije was waived by the Pistons in mid-July, as the team didn't want to guarantee what would have been a $1.3 million salary next season. The 25-year-old appeared in just nine contests for Detroit last season, totaling four points, three rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes. He'll seemingly compete for a final roster spot, though it'll be a tough task to make the team of the 2016-17 NBA Champion Warriors.
