Curry (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against Sacramento. Curry and Draymond Green (knee) have both been cleared for action Tuesday, leaving Gary Payton (calf) as the Warriors' lone absence. Golden State will be traveling to Sacramento for Tuesday's showdown, returning to the scene of the crime where Curry dropped 50 points (20-38 FG, 7-18 3Pt) in a victorious Game 7 of last year's first-round series between these teams. Additionally, Curry averaged 31.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists in four games against the Kings this season.... See More ... See Less

Warriors' Stephen Curry: Expected to play Tuesday
Coach Steve Kerr said Monday that Curry (ankle) is expected to play in Tuesday's Play-In Tournament matchup against the Kings, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Curry sat out Sunday's regular-season finale due to what was deemed a right ankle sprain, but it seemed as though his absence was mainly for rest purposes ahead of the postseason. The 36-year-old will presumably be back in action once the Play-In Tournament gets underway, and he's averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per game over his last three appearances.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Sitting out Sunday
Curry (ankle) won't play Sunday versus Utah, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Curry is being listed as out with a right ankle sprain, but he'll be getting a glorified rest day in the regular-season finale. The point guard will be good to go for the start of the Western Conference Play-In Tournament during the upcoming week, but in his absence Sunday, look for Chris Paul to pick up a start.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Questionable against Jazz
Curry is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jazz with a right ankle sprain. This is a new issue for Curry, but it's worth mentioning that coach Steve Kerr said Friday that he was planning to rest several players against the Jazz even though the Warriors are still jostling for seeding. There should be more clarity following the morning shootaround.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Carries load in victory
Curry finished Thursday's 100-92 victory over Portland with 22 points (8-22 FG, 5-16 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes. Curry drilled five three-pointers and prevailed against the Trail Blazers despite absences from Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee). Although the Warriors are guaranteed a spot in the Play-In Tournament, they have three more games to improve their seeding. Curry should play a full complement of minutes as the team makes a final push for eighth place.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Drains six threes in return
Curry totaled 23 points (7-9 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 134-120 win over the Lakers. The Warriors hung 26 three-pointers on the Lakers, and Curry was perfect from downtown. The Warriors closed the gap to one game behind the Lakers in the West with three games remaining. If Curry can will the Warriors past the Pelicans later in the week, the other two games against the Trail Blazers and Jazz are very winnable.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Not listed on injury report
Curry (rest) isn't listed on Golden State's injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Lakers. Curry took a seat for Sunday's win over Utah, but as expected, he'll return to action Tuesday. Over his last 12 appearances, the sharpshooter has averaged 24.0 points, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 32.1 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Resting Sunday
Curry won't play Sunday against the Jazz due to rest. After averaging 32.1 minutes while playing in each of Golden State's last 12 games, Curry will get a breather Sunday versus a non-contending club before the Warriors return to action for a more important matchup Tuesday versus the Lakers. Expect Chris Paul to start at point guard Sunday in Curry's stead, and Brandin Podziemski should also be in store for an uptick in playing time out of the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Drops 28 points in loss
Curry recorded 28 points (9-23 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 108-106 loss to the Mavericks. Curry was easily Golden State's leading scorer Friday, as no other Warrior finished with more than 16 points. The superstar point guard had been uncharacteristically reserved from deep over his previous two contests with just 11 total attempts, but he was back to his usual ways with 14 three-point tries against Dallas. Curry's 26.5 points per game on the campaign is in line with his career norm, but his 44.8 percent field-goal rate is down over four percent in comparison to last season.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Bounces back in win over Houston
Curry accumulated 29 points (9-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-9 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 31 minutes during Thursday's 133-110 win over the Rockets. Curry was coming off a 13-point effort in the tight win over the Mavericks on Tuesday, but it was clear he was going to bounce back, either in terms of efficiency or volume, sooner rather than later. Curry has scored at least 23 points in three of his last four appearances, and he'll need to catch fire offensively if he wants to carry the Warriors to a playoff berth in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. Curry will look to avenge that 13-point effort when Golden State takes on Dallas on Friday in the second half of a back-to-back set.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Stuffs stat sheet in Tuesday win
Curry finished with 13 points (5-18 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 104-100 win over Dallas. Overall, Curry struggled from the field despite looking sharp from deep. His shooting woes were somewhat mitigated by his contributions across other categories, as he ended three rebounds and three assists shy of a triple-double. Curry is expected to bounce back from a scoring perspective when the Warriors face the Rockets on Thursday in what's a must-win for both teams in the playoff race.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Drains seven threes in victory
Curry accumulated 33 points (12-23 FG, 7-15 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and eight assists in 33 minutes during Sunday's 117-113 win over the Spurs. Curry had most of his family in the stands as he put together an explosive performance. The veteran is rounding back into form after some regression points throughout the month, and it's coming at the right time as the Warriors make a final push for the playoffs.... See More ... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Dishes 10 dimes vs. Orlando
Curry finished with 17 points (6-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and 10 assists over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 101-93 victory over the Magic. Wednesday marked the fourth time this season that Curry has tallied 10 assists or more, and he's now registered seven double-doubles on the year. It was the first time he reached double-digit assists since Feb. 15 against the Jazz, as he took on a larger role in the passing game after Draymond Green was ejected early in the first quarter. Curry hasn't been as efficient with his shot as of late and is averaging 21.4 points per game on 40.6 percent shooting, including 35.8 percent from three on 11.2 attempts per contest, in March.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Leading scorer in Sunday's loss
Curry chipped in 31 points (9-21 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 loss to Minnesota. It's the second time in the last five games Curry has topped 30 points, and the future Hall of Famer looks fully recovered from the ankle injury that cost him the three games prior. During that stretch, the 36-year-old guard has averaged 25.6 points, 5.6 boards, 4.4 threes and 4.2 assists, and in March, he's drained at least three treys in all eight games in which he played 24-plus minutes.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Double-double not enough Friday
Curry totaled 25 points (9-24 FG, 6-18 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes during Friday's 123-111 loss to the Pacers. Curry struggled from three-point range and didn't have his best scoring performance, but surprisingly, he made his presence felt in the rebounding department, as his 11 rebounds tied his season-high mark in that category. Curry continues to make it rain from deep after breaking the 300-threes-made barrier earlier this week. However, he's making only 35.1 percent of his three-pointers since the beginning of March.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Makes history Wednesday
Curry registered 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one block over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 137-116 victory over the Grizzlies. While it was a fairly pedestrian performance by his MVP standards, Curry did drain his 300th three-pointer of the season -- making him the only player in NBA history with five such campaigns on his resume. The 36-year-old guard has popped for at least three treys in 10 of 12 games since the All-Star break, averaging 21.8 points, 4.3 boards, 4.3 assists and 4.1 threes over that stretch.... See More ... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Outscores rest of starting lineup
Curry finished with 27 points (8-20 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 33 minutes during Monday's 119-112 loss to the Knicks. Curry's 27 points outdid the other four members of the starting five, who managed only 25 points. The Warriors had to rely on the bench to make up for the first unit's regression, and the team won't be able to sustain itself with Curry as the only consistent producer.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Scores 31 points in return
Curry (ankle) finished with 31 points (12-24 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 128-121 victory over the Lakers. Curry returned to the hardwood after missing three straight games due to an ankle injury, and the star guard delivered a solid stat line even when factoring in his struggles from three-point range. Even though his numbers are largely down across the board this season from his 2022-23 marks, Curry has still performed as a top-25 fantasy contributor on a per-game basis in nine-category leagues.... Warriors' Stephen Curry: Listed as questionable
Curry (ankle) is officially questionable for Saturday's game against the Lakers. This update comes from the official injury report, but it's worth mentioning that coach Steve Kerr said after Friday's practice that he's expecting Curry to suit up. If that's the case, Chris Paul will likely head back to the bench, and most of the starting lineup would see a dip in usage rate.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Stephen Curry: Expected to play Saturday
Coach Steve Kerr said after Friday's practice that Curry (ankle) is expected to play Saturday versus the Lakers, Sam Gordon of The San Francisco Chronicle reports. The Warriors should release their official injury report Friday night, and it sounds like Curry will likely be listed as probable for Saturday. The superstar point guard has missed three straight games due to a right ankle sprain, and the Warriors have gone 1-2 during that stretch. Curry's return would likely push Chris Paul to a bench role, but the former may be limited to prevent a potential setback ahead of the postseason.... See More ... See Less
