Rockies' Jameson Hannah: Homers in spring loss
Hannah went 1-for-1 with a three-run home run in Monday's spring loss to the Reds.
Hannah was traded from the Reds to the Rockies in November as part of the deal to send Jeff Hoffman to Cincinnati, and he blasted a home run against his former team in the seventh inning of Monday's Cactus League loss. Manager Bud Black has said that the 23-year-old will begin the season in the minors, but he's had a strong start to spring training. Hannah has gone 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI with one strikeout to begin Cactus League play.

Rockies' Jameson Hannah: Traded to Rockies
Hannah was traded from the Reds to the Rockies on Wednesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Hannah will reportedly be one of four players included in Wednesday's trade that is expected to involve two major-leaguers and two minor-leaguers. Hannah was the No. 50 overall pick in the 2018 draft and spent the 2019 season at the High-A level. During that time, he slashed .274/.339/.369 with 37 RBI and eight stolen bases. He was dealt from the Athletics to the Reds in July 2019, and he'll now join yet another organization ahead of the 2021 season.

Reds' Jameson Hannah: Dealt to Reds
Hannah was traded from the Athletics to the Reds in exchange for Tanner Roark, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
Hannah, who was the No. 50 overall pick in the 2018 draft, is a 21-year-old outfielder who hits left-handed and offers plus speed on the bases and in the field. He hit .283/.341/.381 (103 wRC+) with two home runs and six steals in 92 games with High-A Stockton. Hannah probably profiles as an extra outfielder unless he starts tapping into more power.

Athletics' Jameson Hannah: Opens at High-A
Hannah will open the year with High-A Stockton, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.
This is a pretty aggressive assignment for a player who only faced short-season pitching after getting drafted with the 50th overall pick in last year's draft. That said, Hannah is already 21 and would be old for Low-A, and this will allow him to bypass the less-than-ideal April weather of the Midwest League.
