The Orioles have agreed to a deal with Cuban left-handed pitcher Ariel Miranda, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. The deal is pending a physical.

The 25-year-old Miranda pitched professionally in Cuba from 2007-13, according to Baseball-Reference.com. He compiled a 22-25 record, 3.78 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 80 appearances (64 starts). He struck out 6.4 batters and walked 3.5 batters per nine innings in his career.
