McCabe (illness) is not confirmed to be joining the Maple Leafs for Thursday's road game in Boston, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe is optimistic McCabe will be able to make the trip, but he noted it's not a sure thing. If McCabe doesn't travel for Thursday's game, he could still link back up with the Maple Leafs ahead of Saturday's game in Montreal.
