Johnson (lower body) is set to play in Wednesday's contest versus Seattle, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Johnson missed the first four games of Colorado's first-round series against the Kraken because of the injury. He had two goals and eight points in 83 regular-season outings between the Avalanche and the Blackhawks. Johnson is projected to skate alongside Josh Manson in his return.
