The Broncos restructured McGlinchey's (ribs) contract Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. The 29-year-old offensive lineman had been dealing with a ribs issue towards the end of Denver's 2023 campaign, but it seems as if he's moved past it. By restructuring McGlinchey's contract, the Broncos were able to create another $11 million in cap space, per Yates. McGlinchey still has four years remaining on his contract, and he's expected to remain Denver's starting right tackle in 2024.... See More ... See Less

The Broncos placed McGlinchey (ribs) on injured reserve Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. In a corresponding move, Denver activated Alex Palczewski (hand) from injured reserve. McGlinchey started in the first 16 games for the Broncos this season, but he will miss the regular-season finale. Head coach Sean Payton announced Saturday that Cameron Fleming will start at right tackle Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Won't play Week 18
McGlinchey (ribs) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders. The veteran offensive lineman sustained a ribs injury during the Broncos' Week 17 win over the Chargers, and after a week of no practice participation, he'll be inactive Sunday. Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Back at practice
McGlinchey (knee) returned to practice Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. McGlinchey suffered a knee sprain in practice Aug. 8 and was expected to miss two to three weeks with the injury. Now, exactly two weeks later the 28-year-old has returned, which is good news for the Broncos offensive line. The Notre Dame product joined Denver as a free agent this offseason and is expected to be the team's starter at right tackle.... See More ... See Less -
Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Out 2-3 weeks
McGlinchey sustained a knee sprain during practice Tuesday and will miss two-to-three weeks, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. McGlinchey could be in jeopardy of missing the entire preseason after signing with the Broncos on a five-year, $85 million deal this offseason. While this injury shouldn't affect his availability for Week 1 versus Las Vegas, the 28-year-old's health could be a significant factor for Denver's offense, as he's expected to fill a starting role at right tackle in 2023.... Broncos' Mike McGlinchey: Injured in practice
McGlinchey suffered a lower-body injury during practice Tuesday, James Palmer of NFL Network reports. McGlinchey got rolled up and limped off the field with a trainer. It's unclear how what the specific injury is or how sever it may be. The Notre Dame product signed a five-year, $87.5 million deal with the team in March with the expectations that he'd be the starting right tackle, so it'd be bad news for the Broncos if he were to miss an extended period of time....
