Titans' D'Joun Smith: Promoted to active roster

Smith was promoted to the Titans' active roster Wednesday, The Tennessean reports.

The Colts' former 2015 third-rounder out of Florida Atlantic, Smith has struggled with lower-body injuries throughout his brief professional career. His addition to the active roster likely is a sign Jason McCourty (chest) won't be ready in time for this week's matchup with the Jaguars.
