Spence was signed to Washington's active roster Thursday.
Spence provides the team with some much-needed help at defensive tackle with Jonathan Allen, Matthew Ioannidis and Tim Settle all hitting the reserve/COVID-19 list this week. After not appearing in any games this season, it's possible that the 30-year-old may be thrust into a starting role in Week 15 against the Eagles.
