Gordon posted 29 points (12-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 win over the Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference's first round. Nikola Jokic finished just one assist away from a triple-double and Jamal Murray had another impressive showing, but the Nuggets came through in Game 3 thanks to the energy and tenacity of Aaron Gordon, who stepped his game up when Denver needed him the most, especially in the third quarter. The 29-point output was Gordon's second-best scoring mark of the entire campaign, and he's averaging a solid 18.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game through the first three games of the series against the Lakers.... Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Sniffs triple-double in win
Gordon accumulated 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds and seven assists across 32 minutes during Saturday's 114-103 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Gordon didn't do much in the first two quarters since he was dealing with foul trouble, but he stepped up in the second half and delivered a strong showing, ending just three assists away from a triple-double. The Nuggets will go as far as Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray can carry them, but Gordon's contributions on both ends of the court will be pivotal for the team's success. Gordon should continue to see favorable matchups in this series as long as he gets paired with Rui Hachimura.... See More ... See Less -

Gordon (foot) won't play against the Hawks on Saturday, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports. The writing was on the wall once Gordon was downgraded from probable to questionable earlier in the day. With Gordon sidelined, Peyton Watson is a candidate to see extended minutes Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Downgraded to questionable
Gordon (foot) has been downgraded to questionable for Saturday's game against the Hawks. It is unclear if Gordon suffered any type of setback or if the team is just erring on the side of caution with his status on the injury report, but he is trending in the wrong direction for Saturday's contest. Still, more clarity on his status should come after he tests things out during pregame warmups. Should he not get the green light, Peyton Watson and Braxton Key could see extra minutes at power forward.... See More ... See Less -
