Stowers had mustered just one RBI and one run scored across 17 plate appearances since his promotion May 13, but the 26-year-old made the most of his opportunity Monday, slugging two extra-base hits and plating four runners in a career-best performance. Stowers has started two of the last three games and could continue to draw spot starts in the outfield against right-handed pitching, especially with performances like this one.
