Oh, Cody. Sweet Cody. In his first career start, Oregon State's Cody Vaz stole the show and our hearts ...

Here's a look at what (or who?) we would build from Week 7:

Brain: Arizona State QB Taylor Kelly -- Kelly has been fantastic all year, but the claim about him is he hasn't faced much competition. Well, they don't get much worse than the Sun Devils' vanquished Week 6 opponent, Colorado. Still, Kelly's 308 yards on 20 of 28 passing, with a career-high five touchdowns would be impressive against a high school JV team. Kelly now has 14 TDs on the year for the 5-1 Sun Devils.

Heart: Cal DB Steve Williams -- Williams had to summon all his will on Saturday against Washington State's electric Marquess Wilson. Williams held Wilson to four receptions, had six tackles, registered four PBUs and picked a ball off in the end zone. For his efforts, he won conference defensive player of the week.

Arm: Oregon State QB Cody Vaz -- Sean Mannion who? In his first career start, Vaz was absolutely electric from the very start. He started the game perfect on the first drive, then turned it up a notch on a tough BYU defense. Vaz finished with 20 of 32 passing for 332 yards and three touchdowns. No really, Sean Mannion who?

Hands: Oregon State WR Brandin Cooks -- Cooks now ranks second in the country with 131.8 yards per game, and he's showing no signs of slowing down. Cooks had eight catches for 173 yards against BYU and he did it in creative ways. As the youngster continues to get more refined, he could turn out to be something really special. Spare Parts: Washington TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins -- ASJ had a big game with five catches for 83 yards and a touchdown against a good USC defense.

Legs: Arizona State RB Marion Grice -- In a crowded offensive backfield, the Sun Devils have to think creatively about how they deploy their talent. On Thursday, Grice had just one carry, and didn't do anything with it. What a slow night it would be. Only, he also had five catches for 101 yards and three touchdowns. The big back had 114 yards and three scores on the ground in Week 1, but his receiving production came out of nowhere, as he had 88 receiving yards for his career before the big game.

Feet: USC RB Silas Redd -- With so many stars on the USC offense, each one is just trying to get a piece of the action. Redd continues to cut a big slice. Redd had 26 carries for 155 yards and a touchdown in the Trojans' 24-14 win over Washington, and they were tough yards, to boot. With the passing game looking somewhat erratic, coach Lane Kiffin has turned more to Redd, and it's paid off. Spare Parts: Stanford RB Stepfan Taylor -- Taylor had 108 yards rushing on 28 carries against Notre Dame.
