Arizona State junior DE Junior Onyeali will practice Friday night, confirming his reinstatement to the team after new coach Todd Graham had suspended him for all of spring ball for “not meeting team standards." The Arizona Republic’s Doug Haller had that and other notes from the Sun Devils’ first day of training camp.

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham was handing out praise Friday, noting WR Kenneth Scott has had a "very good" first two days of practice. Whittingham also praised QB Jordan Wynn, RB John White, CB Mo Lee and DT Star Lotulelei. Deseret News’ Dirk Facer reported from Utes training camp.

Oregon WR Josh Huff’s trial on a drunken-driving charge has been postponed until Jan. 23 --a few weeks after the Ducks’ football season concludes. The development of young WRs and a settled OL are the first orders of business as Cal opens training camp Saturday, Jeff Faraudo of the Contra-Costa Times reported.
