Wallstedt will serve as the emergency third goalie as the Wild head over to Sweden for matchups with Ottawa and Toronto on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Barring an injury, Wallstedt shouldn't be expected to get into either game as Marc-Andre Fleury and Filip Gustavsson figure to split the crease.

Wallstedt had a 2.68 GAA and .908 save percentage in 38 contests with Iowa last year. He hasn't made his NHL debut yet, but he might get called up during the 2023-24 campaign if Filip Gustavsson or Marc-Andre Fleury miss time due to an injury.
