Lilleberg was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Tuesday. Lilleberg will join up with the Crunch, who are tied 1-1 in a best-of-five series against AHL Rochester. • Lightning's Emil Lilleberg: Gathers helper

Lilleberg notched an assist and five hits in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Bruins. The helper snapped an 11-game point drought for Lilleberg. The 23-year-old defenseman has played most frequently in a bottom-four role this season, though he's rotated regularly with Calvin de Haan in recent weeks. Lilleberg is at four assists, 20 shots on net, 78 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 27 appearances.

Lilleberg was called up from AHL Syracuse on Saturday. Lilleberg has recorded three assists in 23 appearances with the Lightning this season. He also has two goals and 13 points in 33 AHL outings this campaign. Lilleberg could play Saturday against Florida after Haydn Fleury (undisclosed) was injured Thursday versus the Rangers.

  • Lightning's Emil Martinsen Lilleberg: Strong defender gets assist

Martinsen Lilleberg picked up an assist Thursday in a 6-3 win over the Coyotes. Martinsen Lilleberg's strong suit is his physicality -- he's big and strong, and he closes with a lot of speed on opposing forwards. His skating is good, and he has a stay-at-home profile. Martinsen Lilleberg has managed two helpers in nine NHL games this season -- don't expect big numbers over time.
