  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Secures power-play helper

Jarvis logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Ducks. Jarvis left Saturday's game versus the Kings early due to an undisclosed injury, but he didn't have to miss any extra time. His early exit Saturday saw his six-game point streak snapped, but he was right back on the scoresheet with a helper on the first of Taylor Hall's three goals in Sunday's win. Jarvis is up to 27 goals, 26 assists, 14 power-play points, 165 shots on net, 85 hits, 46 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 63 appearances this season.

Jarvis (undisclosed) will be available for Sunday's game against the Ducks, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. Jarvis was considered a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup after sustaining an injury during Saturday's game against Los Angeles. However, he went through pregame warmups and has been cleared to suit up against the Ducks. Over 10 appearances this month, Jarvis has logged four goals, two assists, 10 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-6 rating while averaging 19:59 of ice time.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Deemed game-time call

Jarvis (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against Anaheim, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports. Jarvis sustained an injury during Saturday's game against the Kings, but head coach Rod Brind'Amour said before Sunday's matchup that he hopes the 23-year-old forward will be able to play against the Ducks. However, the Hurricanes' medical staff will wait until after warmups before determining Jarvis' status. Jarvis' early exit snapped a six-game point streak in which he racked up four goals, two assists, five hits, five blocked shots and a plus-6 rating.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Suffers injury Saturday

Jarvis sustained an undisclosed injury Saturday versus Los Angeles and won't return to the game. Jarvis appeared to slam his head into the boards, per Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News. He went into Saturday's match with 27 goals and 52 points in 61 appearances in 2024-25. Andrei Svechnikov (upper body), Jordan Staal (lower body) and Shayne Gostisbehere (illness) were all unavailable Saturday, reducing the Hurricanes' healthy options to just 12 forwards and six defensemen. However, Jarvis could be available to play against Anaheim on Sunday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Adds helper Saturday

Jarvis registered an assist and added two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Flyers. Jarvis assisted on Sebastian Aho's game-opening goal. The 23-year-old Jarvis is up to 25 assists, 51 points and 157 shots on net in 60 games this season. Since the departure of Mikko Rantanen at the trade deadline, Jarvis has played alongside Aho and Jackson Blake on the Canes' top line. Jarvis is currently riding a five-game point streak and is seeing the most power-play time of his young career. He is behind the pace needed to reach his career high in points of 67 by the end of the season, but with a few more big performances, he could end up well over the 60-point mark. He is a must-start in all formats for the rest of the fantasy season.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tallies game-winner

Jarvis scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Bruins. The Hurricanes had one go-ahead goal wiped out for being offside, but Jarvis capitalized on a turnover to put them ahead for good with 19 seconds left in the third period. The 23-year-old snapped a three-game slump with the game-winner, his second such goal this season. Overall, he has 24 tallies, 23 assists, 144 shots on net, 79 hits and a plus-3 rating through 56 appearances while seeing time in all situations.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Fills empty cage Thursday

Jarvis scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sabres. Jarvis picked up his first point in three games since returning from representing Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Over the last two months, he's been pretty good with 14 goals and seven assists across 22 contests. Jarvis is up to 23 tallies, 46 points, 135 shots on net, 75 hits and a plus-2 rating through 52 outings overall. He's unlikely to match last season's 67-point output over 81 regular-season appearances, but a return to the 30-goal threshold is within reach.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Records helper in loss

Jarvis posted an assist in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Wild. The helper was Jarvis' first point over three games in February after he racked up 11 goals and four assists over 15 contests in January. The Hurricanes are still toying with their lines -- Jackson Blake got the first chance on the top line with Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen following the team's blockbuster trade with Colorado, but Jarvis was in that spot Thursday. Jarvis has played pretty well this season, earning 20 goals, 21 assists, 124 shots on net, 72 hits and a plus-1 rating over 48 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Seven points in last four games

Jarvis scored two goals and added two assists in a 7-4 win over Columbus on Thursday. Jarvis has seven points, including five goals, in his last four games, and he has 18 goals, 20 assists and 113 shots in 42 games on the season. That's impressive output considering he's playing on the Canes' third line. Jarvis is on his way to career marks in all three categories.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Third goal in last two games

Jarvis scored a shorthanded goal while adding three shots and a hit in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks. Jarvis has found the back of the net in consecutive games for the third time this season, and at least from a scoring perspective, there's no question the 22-year-old winger is going through a productive stretch. He has seven goals over his last eight contests, a span in which he's also tallied an assist, 22 shots on goal, 10 hits and seven blocked shots.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Pots pair of goals

Jarvis scored two goals, blocked three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights. A lineup shuffle returned Jarvis to the third line alongside Jordan Staal and Jordan Martinook. That line was the Hurricanes' best in the contest. Jarvis is having a strong January with six goals and two assists over nine outings this month. For the season, the 22-year-old is at 15 goals, 33 points, 104 shots on net, 59 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 39 appearances.

Jarvis scored a goal while adding three shots and four hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Ducks. Jarvis continues to find ways to produce in his first-line role, and he's found the back of the net four times over his last five games. The 22-year-old has been very productive in recent weeks, tallying 13 points (five goals, eight helpers) across his last 15 contests. He's also recorded 38 shots, 22 hits and 10 blocked shots in that span.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Bags three apples Saturday

Jarvis produced three even-strength assists in Saturday's 5-2 win over New Jersey. Jarvis recorded a helper on Dmitry Orlov's second-period marker, which tied the score at 1-1, and he assisted on both of Jack Roslovic's tallies in the final frame. It was Jarvis' first multi-point effort since Nov. 25, but perhaps this type of performance will serve as a springboard for the talented winger going forward. The Winnipeg native has logged nine goals and 24 points through 29 appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Scores Carolina's lone goal Friday

Jarvis netted a goal on three shots in Friday's 3-1 loss to Washington. Jarvis snapped Charlie Lindgren's shutout bid at 10:22 of the final frame. The goal was Jarvis' first tally since Dec. 5. Jarvis has become a dependable player at 22 years old -- the right-shot winger's average ice time has increased in each of his first four NHL campaigns. The Manitoba native is occupying a top-line role in addition to a spot on the No. 1 power-play unit, and he ranks fifth on the Hurricanes in points with nine goals and 11 helpers through 25 contests.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Lights lamp on power play

Jarvis scored a power-play goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers. Jarvis has four points (two on the power play, one shorthanded) over two games since he returned from a seven-game absence due to an upper-body injury. He was on the third line prior to his injury, but a lineup shuffle has him on the second line now. Jarvis can produce from just about anywhere -- he has six goals, nine helpers, eight power-play points, 42 shots on net and 21 hits over 15 appearances. He's a burgeoning power winger, and it's not crazy to think he can sustain a point-per-game pace.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Removed from IR

Jarvis (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday. Jarvis will be available to return from a seven-game absence versus Dallas on Monday. He has accounted for four goals, 11 points, 35 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 16 hits through 13 appearances this season. Jarvis could replace Tyson Jost against the Stars.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Skating in non-contact jersey

Jarvis (upper body) was sporting a non-contact sweater at Tuesday's practice, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. While it seems Jarvis hasn't been cleared for contact yet, the fact that he is on the ice would seem to indicate he'll at least be traveling with the team for the Canes' upcoming three-game road trip. With a back-to-back to start the trip, it seems unlikely the winger will play in Thursday's matchup with New Jersey if he isn't cleared in time to face the Flyers on Wednesday -- though he hasn't been officially ruled out for either contest.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Shifts to IR

Jarvis (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday. Jarvis has already missed the last two games. He won't play Saturday versus Ottawa and Sunday against St. Louis, but he will be eligible for Wednesday's matchup in Philadelphia. However, there is no exact timeline for his return. Jarvis has four goals, 11 points, 35 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 16 hits through 13 appearances this season. Tyson Jost has been playing during Jarvis' absence.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Could return to practice next week

The Hurricanes hope that Jarvis (upper body) will be able to return to practice next week, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports Friday. Jarvis has been dealing with an upper-body injury over the past few days that has forced him to miss the last two games, and he'll likely also be sidelined Saturday against Ottawa and Sunday against St. Louis. However, he appears to be trending toward a return, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him return to game action shortly after he's back at practice. Whether he'll be available for Wednesday's road matchup against Philadelphia remains to be seen.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Out of lineup Monday

Jarvis won't play in Monday's road tilt against the Golden Knights due to an upper-body injury, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. Jarvis will miss his first game of the season, and Tyson Jost will make his first appearance of the campaign as a result. Jarvis has produced four goals and seven assists through 13 contests. Expect an update on the right-shot winger's status ahead of Wednesday's game against Utah.
