Young (hamstring) practiced in full Friday but is ruled out for Sunday's home divisional-round contest against Los Angeles, sadga reports.
Young officially remains on IR, so even though he's been ruled out for the NFC Divisional Round, it's possible Philadelphia opts to activate him in the near future, if only to preserve his eligibility to contribute later in the playoffs. The second-year nose tackle hasn't yet suited up for action during the 2024 campaign.

Eagles' Byron Young: Logs full practice Wednesday
Young (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Young has been on injured reserve since late October due to a hamstring injury. He returned to practice last week and was a full participant in all three sessions, but he wasn't able to progress enough in his recovery to play in this past Sunday's NFC wild-card game against the Packers. If Young is able to practice in full all of this week, he would have a good chance of being activated off IR ahead of Sunday's NFC divisional-round clash against the Rams.

Eagles' Byron Young: Not returning for wild-card round
Young, who is on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, has been ruled out for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Packers.
Young has been on IR since late October due to a hamstring issue. He was designated to return to practice Wednesday and logged a trio of full practices during the week but isn't quite ready to suit up. Young was a third-round pick by Las Vegas in 2023 and was claimed off waivers by the Eagles in late August this year. He hasn't yet played in a game for Philadelphia.

Eagles' Byron Young: Gets green light to practice
Philadelphia designated Young (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Chris McPherson of the Eagles' official site reports.
Young did not appear at all during the regular season, but it at least appears he's on track to be available again soon. Philadelphia will have 21 days to officially activate him before he'd be required to go back to injured reserve for the remainder of the postseason.

The Eagles placed Young (hamstring) on injured reserve Friday.
Young was unable to practice all week due to a hamstring injury, which is severe enough for him to warrant a multi-game absence. He will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 12 against the Rams on Sunday, Nov. 24 the earliest he can return. The 2023 third-round pick was claimed off waivers by Eagles in late August but has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

Young was claimed off waivers by the Eagles on Thursday.
Young was waived by the Raiders on Wednesday after posting three total tackles (two solo), including a sack, with Las Vegas during preseason. Now with Philadelphia, the defensive lineman will compete with Jordan Davis for snaps at nose tackle in 2024.
