Neal had been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain in his left ankle and hasn't played since Week 9 against the Raiders. He was recently placed on season-ending injured reserve and will likely spend the first part of the offseason rehabbing. Tyre Phillips has been making starts at right tackle for the Giants.
