Chase Cota: Signs with Kansas City
Cota (undisclosed) is healthy again and signed with the Chiefs' practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Oregon product signed with the Lions in April but was waived with an injury settlement Aug. 30. Cota played in 10 games for the Ducks in 2022 and caught 36 passes for 497 yards and three touchdowns.

The Lions waived Cota (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Tuesday.
Cota signed with the Lions following the 2023 NFL Draft but couldn't land a spot on Detroit's initial 53-man roster. The 6-foot-3 wideout will be free to sign with a new team once he can pass a physical.
