Ezeudu (toe) recently had surgery on his toe and is expected to be ready for the Giants' offseason program, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. The 24-year-old tackle was carted off the field with a toe injury in the Giants' Week 6 loss to the Bills and he's been on injured reserve since. Ezeudu is expected to return to the field sometime this offseason after having surgery to repair his toe, but there's no specific targeted return date just yet.... See More ... See Less

Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Season may be over
Coach Brian Daboll said Friday it "doesn't look good" when asked about the chances of Ezeudo (toe) returning from IR this season, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Ezeudu landed on IR earlier this week due to a toe injury, and it looks like the issue could keep him from returning during the 2023 campaign. He had been filling in for Andrew Thomas (hamstring), who has been ruled out for Week 7, at left tackle prior to landing on IR. The Giants will have to hope that newly signed veteran Justin Pugh can continue filling in across the O-line to keep things steady.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Placed on IR
Ezeudu (toe) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Ezeudu was carted off the field Sunday versus the Bills, but it's unclear if he'll miss the remainder of the 2023 campaign with a toe injury. The 24-year-old had been filling in for Andrew Thomas (hamstring) at left tackle before going down, and he was replaced by veteran Justin Pugh after he exited the game.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Return considered questionable
Ezeudu (toe) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bills, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Ezeudu got injured in the first quarter and was carted to the locker room with his shoe off. He had been filling in at left tackle for Andrew Thomas (hamstring). Justin Pugh is the next man up for New York.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' Joshua Ezeudu: Reps with first team offense
Ezeudu participated in training camp practice Monday, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports. Ezeudu rotated with Ben Bredeson and Tyre Phillips at left guard with the first-team offensive line. Ezeudu was placed on injured reserve in December with a neck injury, and it was later revealed that he was dealing with a shoulder issue, which he got surgery for in February. The 2022 third-round pick out of North Carolina started in two games at left guard last season and will compete to reclaim that starting role.... See More ... See Less

Tom Rock@TomRock_Newsday6H agoHere’s the one thing I believe the Giants should NOT do: Wait until the second round for a QB. Even if they can get Penix or Nix there, if the plan is to have the rookie sit a year behind Jones you have already burned 25% of the value of having a QB on a rookie deal.
