Jacob Hollister: Agrees on injury settlement
The Raiders released Hollister (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The nature of Hollister's injury is not known at this time, but he will now be free to play again this season. The journeyman tight end has spent time with the Patriots, Seahawks, Jaguars, Vikings and Raiders since entering the league in 2017. It remains to be seen what his next move will be, but he will have to wait until his health is back up to par.

Raiders' Jacob Hollister: Lands on IR
The Raiders placed Hollister (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hollister signed with the Raiders on Aug 2. and was competing for a depth spot at tight end behind Austin Hooper, 2023 second-round pick Michael Mayer and Jesper Horsted. Hollister split time last season with the Raiders, Vikings and Seahawks but failed to record a catch over five games. He's set to miss the 2023 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Las Vegas.

Raiders' Jacob Hollister: Signs with Vegas
Hollister agreed to terms with the Raiders on Wednesday.
Hollister had a stint with the Raiders last season that he will now continue after signing. The veteran tight end has played for five teams throughout his six-year career, racking up 83 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns. Expect the 29-year-old to battle for a depth spot in Vegas' tight end room ahead of the coming season.

Jacob Hollister: Gets another chance with Seattle
The Seahawks signed Hollister to their practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Hollister played for Seattle in 2019 and 2020, compiling 66 catches for 558 yards and six touchdowns over 27 contests. The Wyoming product then latched on with Jacksonville last season but played in only seven games, and he competed in five contests between Minnesota and Las Vegas this season but didn't see any receiving targets while playing almost exclusively on special teams. Hollister could get a chance to be elevated to Seattle's active roster in short order with Will Dissly (knee) hitting IR on Tuesday, though he'd likely see limited playing time behind Noah Fant and Colby Parkinson.

With Darren Waller (hamstring) finally coming off of the injured reserve list, the Raiders decided to part ways with Hollister. Provided he isn't claimed by another team during the current waiver period, Hollister is set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Raiders' Jacob Hollister: Joins Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Hollister off the Vikings' practice squad Friday.
Hollister will join the Raiders' 53-man roster as a replacement for fellow tight end Darren Waller (hamstring), who was moved to injured reserve Thursday. Foster Moreau is expected to continue starting at tight end in Waller's stead while handling a near-every-down role, so Hollister and Jesper Horsted aren't likely to see much involvement on offense for the time being. Instead, if Hollister is active for this weekend's game against the Colts, he might see most of his playing time on special teams.

Hollister was Jacksonville's only tight end to be targeted Week 18, and he also led the position group with 45 offensive snaps. The Jags' tight ends didn't produce much after Dan Arnold (knee) was lost for the season, and Hollister was no exception with nine receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown in seven games. Jaguars' Jacob Hollister: Activated off COVID-19 list
Jacksonville activated Hollister (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Hollister tested positive for the virus last Tuesday and was sidelined for the Jaguars' Week 17 blowout loss to the Patriots. In his last appearance, he caught both of his targets for a season-high 20 receiving yards. With James O'Shaughnessy (hip) iffy for Sunday's season finale and Dan Arnold (knee) no safe bet to return from injured reserve, Hollister could have a role in the Jaguars' Week 18 game plan if neither of the former two options are available.
