  • Bills' Josh Allen: Restructures deal

Allen agreed to a restructured contract with the Bills on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Buffalo created close to $32 million in cap space by restructuring the contracts of Allen and Von Miller. Allen accounted for just over $21 million of that cap space by converting $26.4 million of his 2023 salary into a signing bonus. The quarterback -- who turns 27 in May -- is hoping this move will help the Bills fortify the roster around him after falling short in the playoffs in recent years. Allen is expected to enter the 2023 season fully healthy after playing through a lingering UCL injury in his right throwing elbow in 2022.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Not expected to need elbow surgery

Allen said Monday he isn't expected to require offseason elbow surgery, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Allen played through a lingering ulnar collateral ligament injury in his right elbow down the stretch of the 2022 season, including Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the AFC divisional round, but it looks like the issue isn't expected to cause any offseason complications. The Bills currently anticipate rest and recovery being enough to get Allen back to full strength for the 2023 campaign, and there's not yet been any indication that the star signal-caller is in danger of missing any amount of offseason activities. Assuming the recovery proceeds on track, Allen once again will come off the board as one of the premier fantasy options at the quarterback position next season.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Scores team's lone TD

Allen completed 25 of 42 passes for 264 yards and an interception in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the AFC divisional round. He also rushed eight times for 26 yards and a touchdown. Allen never found a passing rhythm amid snowy conditions in Buffalo. In fact, Sunday marked just the second time this season he failed to pass for a touchdown, with the other occasion being the Bills' 20-17 loss to the Jets in Week 9. Although he salvaged some production with his score on a quarterback sneak, Allen's campaign comes to a close in the AFC divisional round for the second straight year. Despite missing one game this season, Allen's numbers of 4,283 passing yards and 35 touchdowns versus 14 interceptions as well as 762 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground were strikingly similar to those from his 2021 campaign. The 26-year-old figures to remain one of the NFL's elite signal-callers next season.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Scores three TDs, commits three turnovers in win

Allen completed 23 of 39 passes for 352 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Dolphins in the wild-card round. He also rushed four times for 20 yards but was sacked seven times and had a fumble returned for a touchdown. Allen had a few long completions prior to opening the scoring with a six-yard bullet to Dawson Knox. In the second quarter, however, Allen threw a pair of interceptions, helping Miami get back in the game. He then had a fumble returned for a touchdown on his first drive of the second half. Despite those mistakes, Allen rallied to throw scores on consecutive series to end the third quarter, finding Cole Beasley from six yards and Gabe Davis from 23. With three touchdowns and three turnovers, it certainly wasn't Allen's best performance, but it was enough to help the Bills advance to the AFC divisional round next weekend.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Limited at practice Thursday

Allen (ankle/right elbow) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Allen was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, but the Bills' QB had his practice reps managed Thursday. The team's final injury report of the week will clarify whether Allen approaches Sunday's scheduled game against the Patriots with an injury designation or cleared for Week 18 action.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Three total TDs in win

Allen completed 15 of 26 passes for 172 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Bills' 35-13 win over the Bears on Saturday. He also rushed six times for 41 yards and another score and committed a fumble that he recovered. Allen and the Bills offense as a whole got off to a slow start in the artic-like conditions of Soldier Field, but the star quarterback ultimately finished with a fantasy-friendly afternoon thanks largely to his work in the second half. Allen did complete a 19-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis just past the midway point of the first quarter, and he then added a four-yard scoring rush and 13-yard touchdown toss to Dawson Knox within the last four minutes of the contest. Allen's final numbers through the air were well below his usual standards, however, and he'll draw another tough matchup on the road against the Bengals in Week 17 on Monday night, Jan. 2.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Returns to full practice

Allen (elbow) practiced fully Wednesday. The quarterback had been listed as a limited participant Tuesday, but Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic relays that Allen's absence was rest-related rather than indicative of a setback. For his part, the signal-caller noted Wednesday that his right elbow "felt really good," adding that "it hasn't felt that good in a long time." With that in mind, Allen shouldn't face any restrictions this Saturday against the Bears. In the Bills' Week 15 win over the Dolphins, Allen completed 25 of 40 passes for 304 yards, four touchdowns and no picks while adding 10 carries for 77 yards.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Limited in practice to begin week

Allen was a limited practice participant Tuesday due to a right elbow injury. Allen has been listed on the Bills' injury report for each of the past six weeks due to the elbow injury he originally sustained Week 9 against the Jets, but Tuesday marks the first time he's been anything other than a full participant since late November. The Bills haven't indicated that Allen is dealing with any sort of setback following Saturday's 32-29 win over the Dolphins, so at this stage of the week, fantasy managers can probably view his limitations as precautionary unless the team says otherwise. Allen is still expected to be ready to go for the Bills' Week 16 game in Chicago on Saturday.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Full participant Monday

Allen logged his first full practice Monday since suffering a right elbow injury against the Jets in Week 9, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Despite being limited at practice over the past three weeks due to an elbow injury he suffered in the team's Week 9 loss to the Jets, Allen still has suited up for three straight games, leading the Bills to a 2-1 record. During that stretch, Allen has completed 63.4 percent of his passes for 780 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. The issue doesn't appear to be impacting his throwing ability too much, but it's a positive sign to see the superstar quarterback return to full practices for the first time in a month. Allen shouldn't have any limitations heading into Thursday's divisional showdown against New England.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Remains limited Tuesday

Allen (elbow) practiced in a limited capacity Tuesday. Despite his listing on the Bills' second Week 12 practice report, Allen appears to be putting his right elbow injury further in the rearview mirror. According to Josh Reed of WIVB-TV, the quarterback was spotted without a sleeve on his throwing arm during the open portion of Tuesday's session. Assuming he logs another capped practice Wednesday -- or, better yet, gets back to full participation -- Allen should be good to go for Thursday's game at Detroit.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Limited on practice estimate

Allen (right elbow) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. Allen continues to manage a right elbow issue that he's been playing through, so his listed limitations Monday presumably are indicative of that trend. There's nothing to suggest that the QB's availability for Thursday's game against the Lions is in any danger, and chances are that Allen will approach the contest minus a Week 12 injury designation.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Gets it done on neutral field

Allen completed 18 of 27 passes for 197 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions and rushed three times for seven yards in the Bills' 31-23 win over the Browns on Sunday. Following a week of plenty of upheaval for the Bills, Allen and his offensive teammates were nowhere near their top level of efficiency. However, after a slow start, Allen was able to build some momentum beginning late in the second quarter, when he hit Stefon Diggs for a five-yard touchdown. Allen then went on to helm five second-half scoring drives, although all but one ended in a Tyler Bass field goal. The quiet performance was a disappointment overall for fantasy managers, but Allen snapped a three-game streak of multi-interception performances and now gets an immediate chance to put together a more prolific effort at Ford Field when Buffalo faces the Lions on Thanksgiving afternoon.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Bills-Browns game moved to Detroit

Allen (elbow) and the Bills are now scheduled to play Sunday's game against the Browns at Ford Field in Detroit at 1 p.m. ET, after the NFL announced Thursday that the game has been moved from Buffalo due to the major snowstorm that's expected to strike Western New York this weekend. Though the Bills will lose out on a true home game as a result of the change, the move to a domed stadium in Detroit at least removes the potential headache fantasy managers might have faced in determining how the inclement weather might affect their players' production. Allen was a limited participant in practice Thursday for the second day in a row while he continues to manage a UCL injury to his right elbow, but he's not believed to be at any risk of missing Sunday's game after playing through the issue in his team's Week 10 overtime loss to the Vikings.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Set for limited practice

Head coach Sean McDermott said that Allen (elbow) will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. McDermott previously told Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com that the quarterback came out of this past Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Vikings in a "good spot" in terms of his right elbow injury. However, since the UCL issue is likely to be a lingering concern for Allen, he's expected to have his practice reps managed ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. Barring any setbacks, Allen is in line to start this weekend, but he may need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid an injury designation.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Slated to start Sunday

Allen (right elbow) will start Sunday's game against the Vikings, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Allen is dealing with an ulnar collateral ligament injury that he sustained during Week 9 action, but he's active and will get the starting nod Sunday, with backup Case Keenum on hand in the event that Allen is limited at all or suffers any setbacks versus Minnesota

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Active Sunday

Allen (elbow) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Vikings. After sitting out practice Wednesday and Thursday, Allen was able to log a limited session Friday before being officially listed as questionable by Buffalo. Allen, who is dealing with an ulnar collateral ligament injury that he sustained during Week 9 action, thus is available for Sunday's contest along with Case Keenum, while Matt Barkley wasn't elevated from the team's practice squad ahead of Week 10. Though the Bills haven't confirmed their starter versus Minnesota, Adam Schefter of ESPN previously relayed that the belief is that Allen will get the assignment.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Expected to play through UCL injury

Allen (elbow), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Vikings, is expected to suit up and start, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Allen is expected to play through his UCL injury Sunday, as the Bills have reportedly been assured by multiple arm doctors and specialists that the star quarterback won't have any added risk of worsening the injury if he suits up versus Minnesota. Buffalo also elected not to elevate Matt Barkley from the practice squad Saturday, another indication that Allen is trending toward active status. Case Keenum remains the only other quarterback on the active roster. Head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Allen's availability is "an hour-to-hour situation," however, so fantasy managers will need to continue monitoring things until official confirmation arrives when Buffalo releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Questionable after limited practice

Allen (elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings after being deemed a limited practice participant Friday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. According to Brown, Allen wasn't on the field for the media-access portion of Friday's practice, but the quarterback evidently got in some work behind the scenes. At this stage, Allen's Week 10 availability is up in the air, with head coach Sean McDermott telling Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com earlier Friday that the signal-caller's status is being viewed as an "hour-to-hour situation." With that in mind, Allen is shaping up as a game-day call ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Allen is unable to play versus Minnesota, backup Case Keenum would be in line to draw the start for Buffalo.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Not spotted at Friday's practice

Allen (elbow) is not participating in the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Coach Sean McDermott reiterated Friday that Allen is considered "hour to hour," per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, so it's possible that the star quarterback's status could come down to the wire as Sunday's contest against the Vikings draws nearer. Friday's official practice report will at least provide Allen with an official game designation, though it appears he's now missed three straight practices. Case Keenum will be in line to start versus his former team if Allen's right elbow injury prevents him from suiting up in Week 10.

  • Bills' Josh Allen: Not practicing Thursday

Allen (right elbow) didn't participate in the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, coach Sean McDermott previously referred to Allen -- who didn't practice Wednesday -- as day-to-day in advance of Sunday's game against the Vikings. When asked if Allen would be able to play in the contest, McDermott replied, "We'll see." Look for added context with regard to the QB's chances of playing this weekend to arrive no later than Friday's injury report, but if Allen ends up being held out, Case Keenum would be in line to draw the start for the Bills in Week 10.
