Hyatt (knee) was seen trying out for the Giants on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Hyatt suffered a knee injury that has forced him to miss the past two seasons with the Cowboys. Now that he's back to full health, the offensive tackle will fight for a roster spot in an attempt to earn a depth role in New York for the upcoming 2022-23 campaign.

Hyatt (knee) was moved from the preseason PUP list to IR on Tuesday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
Hyatt was carted off the field last August with a knee injury and missed the entire 2020 campaign. Now, it appears that his status for 2021 may be in jeopardy as well.

Hyatt had to be carted off the field Thursday, and, as evidenced by this news, the injury appears to be serious. Hyatt was only expected to supply a depth role in 2020 if he was to make the roster, and he'll revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed off waivers.

Hyatt was carted off Thursday's practice field due to an apparent knee or leg injury, David Helman & Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Hyatt could challenge for a depth role along Dallas' offensive line if healthy, but he'll first need to determine the severity of his injury. Per Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, initial evaluations indicate that Hyatt could be in line to miss significant time.
