Saints' Brian Parker: Heading to Big Easy
Parker signed a contract with the Saints on Wednesday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Parker played 13 games with the Broncos last season and caught five of 10 targets for 33 yards. The 27-year-old provides some additional depth at tight end while Jared Cook nurses an ankle injury.

Parker concluded 2018 with five catches and 33 yards off 10 targets.
Parker started the season on the practice squad and moved up following the season-ending ACL injury to Jake Butt. He didn't get too involved in the offense until Jeff Heuerman (ribs) went down for the year in Week 12. As a No. 2 tight end, Parker didn't show too much promise as an option in the passing game. Even if Heuerman departs in the offseason, the competition brought on by Butt, Matt LaCosse and Troy Fumagalli alone will make it difficult for Parker to make the squad.

Broncos' Brian Parker: Pair of grabs in loss
Parker brought in two of his three targets for 10 yards in the Broncos' 27-14 loss to the Raiders on Monday.
With Matt LaCosse (foot) inactive, Parker was the next man up in a depleted tight end corps. The 26-year-old now has back-to-back two-catch outings and five receptions overall in the last three games, but he's totaled just 33 yards over that stretch. Nevertheless, Parker will find himself in the primary tight end role once again in the Week 17 finale versus the Chargers if LaCosse is unable to suit up.

Broncos' Brian Parker: Figures to see more targets
Parker's teammate Jeff Heuerman (ribs/lung) is out for the year, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. This could move Parker up the depth chart.
Parker was targeted for the first time since Week 6 during Sunday's win over the Steelers. Heuerman exited late, and now Parker figures to slot into the No. 2 role behind Matt LaCosse. Parker has just one career reception, so don't expect too much, but he does figure to get some opportunities Sunday against the Bengals 31st-ranked pass defense.

Parker was promoted to the active roster Saturday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
The Albany product has steadily worked his way up the ladder having just joined the practice squad at the beginning of September. Parker doesn't figure to have any significant role on the offensive side of the ball, but the tight end could be of service on special teams should he continue to impress the coaching staff.

The Broncos signed Parker to a reserve/future contract Monday, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
A third-year tight end out of Albany, Parker hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2015, when he made nine appearances with the Chiefs. He'll get the opportunity to take part in the Broncos' offseason program and make his case for a roster spot in training camp next summer.

The Jets signed Parker on Thursday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Undrafted in 2015, Parker subsequently made nine appearances with the Chiefs during that season, corralling one of two targets for six yards. The tight end didn't make the cut last preseason, though, only to spend two days with the Jets before he was waived/injured just before the start of the regular season. After a year out of football, he'll have a chance to land a roster spot in a Jets positional group bereft of much talent.

ESPN's Adam Teicher thinks Parker is a candidate to make the team's 53-man roster but it could be difficult for the Chiefs to keep him on as a fourth-string tight end.
Parker nabbed his only target for 13 yards in Thursday's preseason finale but remains well behind the trio of tight ends (Travis Kelce, Demetrius Harris and Ross Travis) for a roster spot. If the second-year tight end doesn't make it, he could still be a candidate for the practice squad.

Parker could see an extended run Sunday against the Broncos.
Parker saw his first game action with the Chiefs two weeks ago against the Lions, making key blocks on a play that led to a 10-yard touchdown run for De'Anthony Thomas. However, he didn't make have any grabs in the contest, and probably won't do enough even in his expanded role to be worth consideration in fantasy leagues.
