Tunsil underwent an offseason knee scope in February, which typically comes with a recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks. With Tunsil now well removed from surgery, he's expected to be available to participate in preseason games, even if the Texans take it slow with their starting left tackle early in training camp.

Tunsil underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in February and appears to still be on the mend. However, the Ole Miss product is still expected to be ready to compete when training camp starts in late July.

Tunsil dealt with a few injuries throughout the 2023 season and his knee was drained on a few occasions. He's expected to recover fully, and he should not be in jeopardy to miss any time in training camp.

Texans' Laremy Tunsil: Returns to wild-card contest
Tunsil (knee) has re-entered Saturday's wild-card game against the Browns, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
Tunsil was hurt in the second quarter of the contest and subsequently spent considerable time in the medical tent. However, he never headed to the locker room, and he's since returned to the playoff contest. The Pro Bowler's ability to resume play is a big sigh of relief for the Texans, who had slid George Fant over to left tackle while Tunsil was temporarily unable to play.
