Panthers' Henry Anderson: Returns to Carolina
The Panthers re-signed Anderson to a one-year deal Tuesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Anderson will return to Carolina and likely serve as depth along the defensive line. The 31-year-old registered 18 tackles (nine solo) last year, and he failed to record a sack for the second consecutive season. Anderson has now had two of the least productive seasons of his career since leaving the Jets following the 2020 season, but the 2015 third-round pick will look to bounce back next year in a new defensive scheme, as former Broncos coordinator Ejiro Evero takes over the defense for the Panthers.

Panthers' Henry Anderson: Signs with Carolina
The Panthers signed Anderson (undisclosed) on Monday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Anderson reached an injury settlement with New England on Thursday and quickly found a new home in Carolina. It's unclear what landed him on IR at the end of August, but he appears to be healthy after signing a deal with the Panthers. The 31-year-old appeared in just four games last season -- his lone campaign with New England -- before suffering a torn pectoral. However, before 2021, he'd been an integral part of every defense he'd played for since 2015 -- three seasons apiece with the Colts and Jets. In a corresponding move, the Panthers waived second-year defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon.
