The good news is that Ricardo Lockette will be OK. The Seahawks wide receiver crumpled to the turf Sunday while covering a punt after a block from Cowboys safety Jeff Heath.

Lockette lay motionless on the field for several minutes, but had movement in his arms as he was taken off the field on a stretcher. He was later diagnosed with a concussion. Heath was flagged for a blindside block on the play, and after the game several Seahawks players took issue with Heath's hit.

Linebacker Mike Morgan called it "dirty" while defensive end Michael Bennett took it a step further.

“I thought it was a classless play,” Bennett said, via the Seattle Times. “I thought their coach could have came to the aid of our player to see that he was OK. That’s what Pete Carroll would have done. I thought [Cowboys coach] Jason Garrett could have done a better job on that. I thought the referees sucked. When something happens like that, it’s their job to protect the players, but they haven’t been doing a very good job of it this year.”

After the game Heath spoke about the play.

"I just felt horrible when I found out how hurt he was," he said, via DallasNews.com. "That wasn't my intention at all."

Meanwhile, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant took to Twitter to explain that that he wasn't talking trash about Lockette while the receiver was down.

After the game, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll delivered some good news about a situation that could have been much worse.

"He cleared for concussion stuff, but they have some other tests to do here, and we'll get (that) figured out," Carroll said. "He's got a sore neck, and figure out what that all means, but we're grateful he's been able to bounce back from that, and he's pretty positive right now."
