Lions seventh-round pick Michael Williams told the official team website he feels as if he's improved his development just by going through the offseason practices. Williams is hoping to be a dual threat as a blocker and a receiver for Detroit.

"I've grown tremendously, just through these 10 organized team activities and two minicamps," Williams said. "I think my coaches see it -- I see it -- and I feel it. I feel myself coming out of breaks faster. I feel myself coming downhill when I get out of those breaks. It's those little things that make a route, or a route combination work. I feel like I've gotten 10 times better from when OTAs started."

Williams had 51 career receptions in college for 503 yards (9.9 avg.) and seven touchdowns.
