Everyone loves new Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. But you know who really likes the rookie? Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall.

Hall previously said that RG3 can be the "prince of D.C." and then on Thursday told Adam Schein on Sirius XM Radio that Griffin right now is better than Michael Vick when the Eagles quarterback came in the league.

"There's a 'wow' factor watching him," Hall said. "I saw Mike (Vick) when he came in and RGIII is ahead of him. And he wants to work."

Now, Hall wasn't with the Falcons when Vick started his career in the NFL, and Hall wasn't even with Vick at Virginia Tech (though both played there and I think Vick might've hosted Hall on his unofficial visit), but he's certainly seen a lot of Vick playing.

Quite honestly, it wouldn't be that surprising to find out that RG3 was more ready than Vick, especially when Hall starts talking about Griffin and how he "wants to work." Vick was notorious for not wanting to work and has admitted as much later in his career.

But then again, Hall did admit to Sarah Kogod of the Washington Post that he spent Tuesday night pounding Blue Moon by himself in his house while watching the Thunder-Spurs game.

"I blacked out last night," Hall said. "From drink."

So maybe all the orange slices are making his memory fuzzy.
