Beyond right guard Lance Louis being placed on injured reserve with a torn left anterior cruciate ligament, the Bears on Monday had no update on the conditions of several other players injured in Sunday's 28-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Left guard Chris Spencer suffered a sprained knee, WR Devin Hester sustained a concussion and RB Matt Forte and CB Charles Tillman sprained their ankles.

Tillman was on the sideline walking and standing throughout the fourth quarter and didn't appear seriously hurt. Spencer tried to return to the field for a few plays and left for the remainder of the game.

Forte limped off the field and to the locker room for an X-ray.

Hester will have to go through the same concussion protocol that quarterback Jay Cutler went through the previous two weeks.

"We hope that they’re not serious injuries," coach Lovie Smith said. "But if a guy doesn’t finish the game, there’s concern and of course there is some concern for some of the guys. But we’ll bounce back."

The Bears' running game got more attempts Sunday than it had all year with Forte missing the second half.

“Of course we need him and we’re hopeful that he will be ready to go," Smith said. "But if not, Michael Bush, Armando Allen, those guys will need to step up the way they did [Sunday].”

The loss of three guards within a week -- including Chilo Rachal, who was placed reserve/non-football injury last week -- and the loss of Hester with WR Alshon Jeffery already out due to knee surgery could lead to players being added.

“We’re always looking for guys," Smith said. "We have some other options still. That’s based on those guys being out for a period of time we would have to do that, but none of that has been decided."
