The Cowboys returned to the practice field Monday after having three of the last four days off since beating the Giants on Wednesday.

It’s almost back to a regular schedule for the Cowboys, who held a walkthrough practice Monday.

“It’s good to get the guys back here and get focused on Seattle,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “We had a good time to rest, but I think we’re ready to get started once again. The Giants game was a good start but it’s time to move forward.”

On an injury front, the Cowboys had a few players out of practice, including safety Gerald Sensabaugh, a surprise no-show. Sensabaugh was not on the injury report last week and seemed to get through the game just fine.

Defensive tackle Jay Ratliff (high ankle sprain) was not out on the field for the media portion of practice. The same goes for center Phil Costa (back), who played just three plays last week against the Giants before re-aggravating an injury. Garrett listed him as day-to-day but it’s likely Costa will be out for a significant amount of time, meaning newly signed veteran Ryan Cook will likely start.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins (shoulder) continued to practice despite missing the first game. He was a game-time decision and didn’t play but he could get his first action of the season Sunday against the Seahawks.

Tight end Jason Witten (spleen) was able to play in the game against the Giants but clearly wasn’t 100 percent. Garrett said Witten will continue to be monitored but he’s expecting the starting tight end to be ready again for Seattle.
