Corey Washington nearly scores in first career game

Giants rookie receiver Corey Washington was summoned into Week 1 against the Lions as a red zone threat. Washington was unable to come down with a fade pass in from Eli Manning in the corner of the end zone in the second quarter. It was his only target of the night in a 35-14 loss.
