Here are some news and notes from around the Arizona Cardinals...

  • With Patrick Peterson on the return team, the Cardinals are known more for what they can do with two feet than with one foot. But Jay Feely and Dave Zastudil are quickly making it a debate, writes Craig Morgan of Fox Sports Arizona. Feely has made all 17 of his kicks (seven field goals, 10 extra points), including a game-winner Sunday, and he's converted 18 straight field goals. Zastudil, meanwhile, ranks seventh in the NFL in net yards per punt.

  • Darnell Dockett's status is still unknown for Thursday's primetime matchup at St. Louis, and that trickles down to the rest of the Arizona defensive line. With Dockett sidelined, writes Kent Somers of AZCentral.com, two players are needed to do the same job. And they're no slouches, either. Nick Eason and David Carter are both good linemen, but Dockett has performed at such a high level this year that his presence is sorely missed.

  • Sometimes it's in the smallest details. For the Cardinals, perfection and disappointment was as small as six inches, Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com writes, with a great note on how Kevin Kolb's fourth-quarter, game-tying touchdown pass to Andre Roberts materialized.

  • Greg Toler is playing sans knee brace, and it's made a world of difference, Josh Weinfuss of AZCardinals.com writes. Toler had seven tackles and an interception in the Cardinals' win over Miami, and he's back playing with confidence. “I was patient,” Toler said. “I know what I’m capable of. When I’m healthy, I know what I can do.”
