2013 Super Bowl: Dennis Pitta, Dannell Ellerbe active for Ravens

There were no surprises on the inactives lists released by the Ravens and 49ers. San Francisco's Justin Smith and Aldon Smith, and Baltimore's Dennis Pitta and Dannell Ellerbe all are active.

Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta (thigh) and inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ankle) are active for the Super Bowl as there were no surprises on the inactives lists just released.

The 49ers declared quarterback Scott Tolzien, running back Jewel Hampton, guard Joe Looney, safety Trenton Robinson, linebacker Cam Johnson, nose tackleIan Williams and defensive lineman Tony Jerod-Eddie inactive. Defensive lineman Justin Smith, who has a partially torn triceps, is active, as is defensive end Aldon Smith (shoulder). 

Wideouts Chad Hall and A.J. Jenkins also are active.

The Ravens declared defensive back Omar Brown, defensive tackle Bryan Hall, linebacker Adrian Hamilton, guard Ramon Harewood, cornerback Asa Jackson, defensive back Chris Johnson and wideout Deonte Thompson inactive.
