Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Struggles from field Thursday
Ingram posted nine points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 31 minutes during Thursday's 133-89 loss to the Lakers.
Ingram enjoyed a strong start in the first quarter and stepped up whenever the Pelicans needed offense. However, he faded away as the game progressed and looked overmatched against a dominant Lakers defense. From an efficiency and scoring point of view, this one will go down as one of Ingram's worst games of the season, though perhaps more worryingly, it was a subpar outing in a game where the team needed him to step up.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Posts 30 points in all-around game
Ingram supplied 30 points (10-20 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 127-117 win over Sacramento.
Ingram led all Pelicans in scoring while finishing second in rebounds and assists and ending two boards short of a double-double in a winning effort. Ingram has tallied 30 or more points in five games this season and has posted at least 30 points, five rebounds and five assists on two occasions this year.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Puts up 30 in victory
Ingram racked up 30 points (12-21 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 35 minutes during Friday's 116-106 win over the Clippers.
Ingram is usually dialed in when he's in Los Angeles, and he felt right at home in his old arena as the Pelicans advanced to 3-1 in West Group B. Ingram has never posted an average field goal percentage of 50 percent or more, but he's doing exactly that through 13 games, averaging 50.6 percent from the court. His work at the charity stripe (78.2 percent) could use some improvement, but he's performing extremely well otherwise.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Another efficient shooting night
Ingram closed Wednesday's 117-112 win over the Kings with 23 points (9-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes.
Ingram has scored at least 20 points in nine straight games. During that stretch, he's averaged 25.2 points, 5.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds while shooting 49.2 percent from the field. Ingram's offensive usage may take a hit when CJ McCollum (chest) is cleared to return, but Ingram has proven he can coexist with both McCollum and Zion Williamson individually over the past two years, so it's just a matter of the Pelicans' trio thriving together.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Goes off for 31 points Monday
Ingram had 31 points (11-18 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes during Monday's 129-93 victory over the Kings.
Ingram had one of his best outings of the season from an efficiency perspective, and he led the Pelicans in scoring en route to a massive 36-point win. Ingram has been on a roll of late, reaching the 20-point mark in eight consecutive contests, and this 31-point outing tied his season-high scoring mark. He is already a valuable fantasy asset due to his ability to chip in across the board, but the scoring run he's going through of late elevates his already high floor.

Ingram scored at least 20 points for the sixth game in a row and continues to make an impact as an offensive threat for New Orleans. His most significant impact came in the playmaking department, as his eight assists were a season-high mark. He's trending in the right direction of late and is averaging 22.7 points, 5.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 0.4 steals per game in November.

Even with Zion Williamson in the fold, Ingram remains the Pelicans' go-to playmaker on offense.

Ingram provided 24 points (11-25 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and six assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-101 loss to the Timberwolves.
Ingram did all he could to help lift New Orleans in a road loss, leading all Pelicans players in scoring while handing out a team-high-tying assist total. Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Goes for 16 points in return
Ingram contributed 16 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 32 minutes during Saturday's 123-105 loss to Atlanta.
Ingram didn't have his best performance, though it must be said he was returning from a three-game absence due to right knee tendinitis. This was his lowest-scoring appearance of the season, but he should bounce back sooner rather than later. When fully healthy, he's a player capable of putting up over 20 points while contributing in other categories regularly.

Having Ingram back represents a huge boost for the Pelicans, as he had missed the last three games due to right knee tendinitis. His return will push Jordan Hawkins back to a bench role. Ingram has averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in his two outings in 2023-24.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Questionable Thursday
Ingram (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pistons, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
Ingram missed the last two games due to right knee soreness, and his diagnosis has now been changed to right knee tendinitis. However, he'll still be in the mix to suit up in the second half of the Pelicans' back-to-back set. If he's unable to play, Jordan Hawkins should draw another start for New Orleans.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Ruled out
Ingram (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
Ingram will miss a second straight game due to a knee injury. He reportedly has no structural issues with the knee, so fantasy managers can be optimistic about Ingram's return timeline. However, Wednesday's matchup is the first half of a back-to-back set, so Ingram should be, at best, considered questionable for Thursday's game against Detroit. Jordan Hawkins should draw another start in Ingram's stead.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Questionable for Wednesday
Ingram (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Late scratch Monday
Ingram (knee soreness) is inactive for Monday's game against Golden State, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
Ingram being unavailable to suit up botches an opportunity for New Orleans to fully capitalize on Golden State lacking Klay Thompson (knee) and Jonathan Kuminga (knee) Monday. Dyson Daniels, Jordan Hawkins and Herbert Jones will likely fill Ingram's void.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Leading scorer in home opener
Ingram amassed 26 points (11-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 96-87 victory over the Knicks.
Ingram was able to make his first three-pointer of the season after missing all three of his attempts behind the arc Wednesday against the Grizzlies. Nine of his points came in the third quarter as he helped the Pelicans stave off the Knicks, who overcame their slow start in the first half to reduce their deficit to single digits. Ingram did commit five turnovers for the second straight game, and he'll have to take care of the ball better moving forward.

Pelicans' Brandon Ingram: Productive in win
Ingram posted 19 points (7-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 111-104 win over the Grizzlies.
Although Ingram wasn't particularly efficient from the floor Wednesday, he still finished third on the team in scoring while also making a mark through his rebounds and assists. While he may not be as big of a focal point in the Pelicans' offense this year now that Zion Williamson is healthy, Ingram proved Wednesday that he can still be a productive fantasy option.
