FINAL: LAKERS 106, Suns 103
The Los Angeles Lakers advanced to the semifinals of the In-Season Tournament with a controversial win over the Phoenix Suns. Late in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were clinging to a two-point lead when they were granted a timeout and the ball despite no one having control. Anthony Davis only hit one of his two free throws on the ensuing possession, but that was enough to ensure a Lakers' win.
LeBron James finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and five steals to lead the way for the Lakers. In the process, he became the first Lakers player with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five steals in a game since Magic Johnson in 1987.
Our Sam Quinn broke down the controversial timeout call.
