White Sox's Chris Johnson: Signs with White Sox
Johnson signed a minor-league contract with the White Sox on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of FancredSports.com reports.
Johnson sat out the 2018 season and last saw action for Triple-A Norfolk with the Orioles in 2017, where he slashed .301/.330/.506 in 62 games. The 34-year-old has struggled to find a place in the majors since 2015, as he had a .617 OPS in 196 games between the Braves, Indians and Marlins over his final two seasons. The deal doesn't include an invite to major-league spring training, as the veteran corner infielder should serve as organizational depth for the White Sox.

Orioles' Chris Johnson: Reinstated from DL
Johnson (forearm) was reinstated from the 7-day disabled list Tuesday.
Johnson underwent surgery in April to repair a broken ulna bone in his forearm, but has looked good in seven rehab games with High-A Aberdeen and appears ready to return to Triple-A Norfolk. The 32-year-old re-signed with the Orioles on a minor-league deal this offseason and will continue serving as organizational depth.

Orioles' Chris Johnson: Rehab stint set to start Monday
Johnson (forearm) will begin a rehab stint with short-season Aberdeen on Monday, David Hall of The Virginian-Pilot reports.
The plan is for Johnson to spend 7-to-8 days with the IronBirds before returning to Triple-A Norfolk. The veteran infielder has been sidelined since April 9, but it seems like a return to action is on the horizon barring any extraneous circumstances.

Orioles' Chris Johnson: Hopeful for mid-June return
Johnson (forearm) swung a bat for the first time since injuring himself in early April, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Johnson seems to be in line with the original 6-to-8 weeks he was expected to miss after breaking the ulna bone in his forearm. Barring any setbacks, the Orioles are hopeful he will be able to return to action around mid-June.

Johnson (forearm) underwent successful surgery Tuesday to repair his broken right forearm, David Hall of The Virginian-Pilot reports.
Johnson suffered a broken ulna bone in his forearm after being hit by a pitch Saturday. He had 10 screws inserted into his arm during Tuesday's surgery and is currently expected to miss six-to-eight weeks of action.

Johnson suffered a broken ulna bone after being hit by a pitch on his right forearm in Saturday's game with Triple-A Norfolk, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports. He was placed on the 7-day disabled list and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks.
Johnson, who signed a minor-league deal with the Orioles in February, was hit by a pitch in spring training that sent him to the X-ray room, too. Unfortunately for the 32-year-old, Saturday's results didn't come back with positive news like the previous report. The injury likely dashes any hope Johnson had of receiving a promotion to the big leagues in the near future.
